M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women Chennai BA: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The fees structure of BA journalism in MOP vaishanav college is 60000 per year . For each semester is 30000 so per year is 60000. And the examination fees is not included in this . The tution fees, caution fees, development fees is included in semester fees . In my batch mates there all paid in autonomous and no scholarship students in my batch .

Fee Structure was comparatively less to other colleges in surroundings. The fee range from 19k to 22k for all 6 semester. The college also provide scholarship for low annual income families. They also provide scholarship for sports person through their studies and even for ncc students.

Fees was quite high as compared to some college but it is worth for playing we can apply for scholarship, the scholarship eligible is only about marks and not about caste or religion. You can get scholarship for 3 semester. Scholarship work like paying half of our fees. I have joined in NCC which was very useful for me to acquire knowledge for crack UPSC exams learned alot through camps like firing, obstacles etc

The fee for my course is pretty high compared to other colleges. Tuition fees, project fees, and exam fees will be collected every semester. There are a lot of workshops but there is no specific financial assistance provided by the college.

Journalism courses cost up to Rs.45,000 per year which is affordable when compared with other journalism colleges in Chennai. The course fee may amount up to Rs. 20,000 to Rs.23000 per semester. Exam fees are not included in this amount. the college also offers scholarships for well scoring students and economically backward students. MOP provides a low-cost journalism course among the other journalism course offering colleges. The department provides various stipend internship offers. Even news media companies like The Hindu, The Times of India and The New Indian Express recruit students for internships and work.

Well when I was the student my fee was 45500/-per annum which included all the facility of using all infrastructure and college equipment related to the course. College did have a sports quota for the students from sports field with concession in the fees as well provided scholarship to those students who excel in their stream but are financially effected. Coming to Campus Placement, college has tie up with very leading brands both National and Multinational, bringing good opportunities for the students.

It is really good and well crafted. We have goof industrial exposure but no placement. But other than that, the college provides really good type of training. Media faculties are very good with their teachings

There are several endowments program available for bright students. Also, you can avail waiver in sports quota etc. Ofcourse, the bank loans are also available.

I have not availed any loan or scholarship facilities. I have no idea about any such related either. The college website might offer better information regarding the same.
