The overall ambiance of the college is great
I should personally thank my college for introducing the vending machine.
You can literally leave whenever you want as different departments have different timings.

Dislikes

BBA faculty are the worst. For every sem there are different teachers. BBA has high quiltting percentage.
No time sense. This is a major disadvantage as people who are time sensitive feel threatened. If they say an event starts at 1 dont expect it to actually start. They may start even at 3
Placements are the worst. They bring only the worst companies here. In my class of 77, hardly 10 got actually placed

I applied to colleges like Stella Maris, VIT & then MOP. Unfortunately, Stella doesnt not accept commerce with computer applications. VIT was a bit pricey & far. There are different admission process. For BBA there is shift I &II. For shift I u need business mathematics all though its such a dumb rule. Its better to give a choice to students. The process is comparatively simple. Just apply & if you qualify then pay the fees.

classes were fun and developmental and fun
teachers were attention giving and understanding
classmates were of different backgrounds

Dislikes

covid season so mostly online not much engagement
some teachers could be nicer to me and my classmates
not proper teaching for few subjects which were important

Admission:

honestly did apply only to mop for i heard their visual communication programme is best in the city. so i did not play it safe because i also knew had a fair shot at getting accepted here which i did. the admission process was a good score from 12th mark sheet to be eligible and then we had an entrance exam which was simple. consisted of drawing a book.

Friendly, approachable faculty, always available to clarify doubts regardless of whether general or academic oriented.
Spacious, well developed, and student-teacher friendly lab environment
Digital machines that drop sanitary pads anytime, sanitizing machines in the corridors, healthy drinking water in taps, and good quality, nutritious branded food in food courts

Dislikes

Restrooms may be occasionaly damp and slippery, but clean otherwise

Admission:

Neighbouring colleges like stella maris, wcc, loyola, and other colleges such as ethiraj offer similar courses, but MOP excels in the exposure and academic flexibility offered to the students. Just like these colleges, MOP does not conduct a specific entrance for any degree as such.

Likes

Our college need little more extra space
The engagement of social interactions is too good and campus quality is too good with facilities
Our faculty are super knowledgeable and we have many workshops and guest lecturer apart from subjects and more facilities to teach us with lab and studios

Dislikes

Mayb a the space of the college and canteen is bit expensive
The college space is too small one which is issue for the students if there is programs
Some teachers are placed in wrong position

A Review on MOP Vaishnav College for Women

Likes

The aspects of the college which i love is their infrastructure, their locality, their teaching methods, their canteen and hospitality.
The need for improvement lies in providing more spacious and ventilated classrooms.
MOP Vaishnav College has fantastic placements including companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, KPMG, etc.

Dislikes

The Benches and Tables of the classrooms are not of highest quality.
The fee structure is not affordable for all
The entire college is crunched and apartment-like, no free campus

The dress code is comfortable for all the students who love western outfit or traditional outfit .we can wear what we want in occasions festival
The department organise the function for the students to learn about the things what we are studying. They organised the well learned expects to thought for the students.They organise the workshop for the students to learn .

Dislikes

The cost in canteen is high. Below the normal people they can't buy the food in the canteen provided

I applied for the ethiraj college for women and I get confirmation admission from the ethiraj clg but I choose the MOP Vaishnav College for women . In chennai BA journalism is not in every college there is only limited college . In that MOP is college is best for the course journalism. The admission process for the MOP Vaishnav College is I put the application online and they selected in the mark basis .

Likes

I was realy inpressed by the teaching method implemented. I liked how the teachers brought both the theoritical and practical aspects of psychology
Internship opportunities and recommendations from the faculty was invaluable and gave me a path to explore more.
Other than psychology its Interdisciplinary fields such as HR was also given importance and was included in syllabus

Dislikes

The college timings were from 1.15 to 5.45 pm. Evenings are always crowded and was difficult for students travelling from longer distance
The canteen had fewer varieties and was not affordable
There was no placements related to Psychology

Admission:

The admission was quite simple and quick. The admissions are purely online and it is through the MOP website. There is no entrance exam for UG programs and only the student's 10th 11th and 12th marks and the field the student has chosen in their 11th grade. But for the PG program there is an entrance exam, interview, and group discussion to secure admission.

The Administration is really good, canteen facilities are available to the students of both the shifts.
The quality of teaching is good, a new curriculum of teaching is followed, practical levels of teaching will be provided, and semester exams will be tough and improve the level of learning.
Classrooms are equipped with projectors for ppt presentation and this is one of the most happening colleges as events keep coming up regularly

Good Placements and okayish Facultues

Likes

I like the placements, they give you many options while in Bachelors degree.
The campus life espevially if you become any deputy ministers, it would be really great. Socializing is what I like more there.
It has good library and e-library facilities. Other tech related stuffs are well equipped.

Dislikes

The faculties, some have a good knowledge but few lack teaching skills
The campus is litteraly very small looks like an apartment.
The food in canteen were over-rated when I studied there.

Admission:

Eligibility is like you should have learnt Maths and Computer science in your high schooling. All the application related, course related details you can find in thier website itself. First payment will be made offline whereas all other payments are online only. You will have to take exams monthly and it would be difficult to cover 2 Units at a night.
