Likes

The faculty is good, well educated they make sure the students understand everything they are very good behaviour wise.
They offer many scholarship opportunities financial aid including merit based and government scholarship.
Job assuring college, it will always be good to know that the college placements are awesome

Dislikes

There are so many good teachers but just a few bad ones discourage the students from being curious to learn by being cocky
They have not well teaching staff, they dont have nice ground
Hostel rooms are decent but the mess facilities are awfully disgusting.

Placement cell of the college is very strong as it approaches atleast 100-150 companies for all branches in a academic year. Their is a huge advantage that we can get the internship opportunity in any year of bachelor study from the college.

Likes

Faculty is supportive and highly qualified.
New computers have been set up, plus we hav 2-3 mac os labs too.

Dislikes

Campus is small. Sometime it feels like overcrowded.

Student Life at VIT Pune: Covering technicalities, extracurriculars and placements

Likes

The best thing about VIT is the extracurricular activities it provides. Almost 40 technical/non - technical clubs including dance, music, art, robotics, photography etc are a few to name. The college has new fests every semester so it's never boring.
Many non - technical subjects like psychology are taught in the first year
It prioritises practical knowledge over theory by giving 5 projects each semester for better understanding of subjects and also judges students on theoretical & practical knowledge along with presentation and communication skills by assigning PPTs

Dislikes

The campus isn't great it's quite small for a college but the extracurriculars and fests compensate for it.

Placement Experience:

The placement drives start in the first semester of the third year. Many companies visit almost 7 - 8 companies every month. The highest package offered by a company until now was 54LPA off campus and 40LPA on campus. The average package is approximately 8.5LPA.

Subjects and curiculum of this college is very good and upto date.
There are 3 common semesters in this college.

Dislikes

Campus is very small. There is only one ground that is too small.
intake of student is 1400 every year , which is very much , campus become crowded.
one teacher teaches many subject. there is no faculty dedicated to a single subject.

Placement Experience:

College supports higher studies. the college supports students to go for the master's degree or PHD. Students have been placed in companies like microsoft , amazon and google also from off campus . many students get placed from different different hackathons. more than 70 percent students get placed . My plan after getting degree is to get a good job .

Likes

Teachers are very experienced and helpfull
More emphasis on project based learning
There are many clubs, both technical and cultural

Dislikes

Campus is very small, just a single ground
Other college students also come to get placement

Likes

College has amazing fests and events throughout the year
they are not VERY strict and have easy evaluation
it’s flexible for exams because it’s an autonomous college

Dislikes

some facilities could be improved, and highly suggest getting a white board instead of chalk
the campus is old and does not have much sports facilities
the teachers need to have a better dialect

the college has many placement opportunities. many good companies come in for hiring the students right from the campus. they bring companies that come with a good job offer and good salary. they also help to find internships and encourage the students to get enrolled

I I like the placement of college the seniors are also your interactive Vishwakarma institute of technology is very reputed college
There are total 40 clubs in Vishwakarma institute of technology
There is a chance to learn lots of things from this cluvs this clubs included a technical as well as non technicals

Dislikes

Campus of our college is too short and the intake of Vishwakarma institute of technology is comparatively bigger than that of the college
We have common model for all branches of students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college is autonomous means the college design is curriculum in a such way that the student should prepare for real word applications. The syllabus of our college is very much similar to the GATE exam.

Likes

The college has every good infrastructure and great surrounding area.
They have many events which helps to relax a student's mind and body.
The faculty in vit pune are very supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

The college area is very small and not big to conduct big events.
The area surrounding the college is very small and create trouble for parking and hence bad traffic is promoted
The exam schedule is very bad as the decisions are taken suddenly.

The college is the best place to grow and learn about the real world problem faced by the technical world

The college campus is so small sometimes it becomes harder for one to stay at one place.
The infrastructure of college needs to be improved such that it becomes easier to conduct classes easily
