"BEYOND EXPECTATIONS: AN IN-DEPTH LOOK"

Panimalar Engineering college atmosphere is the perfect and the campus really awesome, faculties are really good. food and transport facilities are provided by college management for both hostellers and day scholars.

Dislikes

So many rules are there like boys and girls shouldn't talk in the college campus, dress code is very strict for both boys and girls . Dayscholar should come in the college bus only.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. TCS, Tech Mahindra ,Zoho , Accenture,etc... Average package is 4 lacks per annum in panimalar engineering college Taking placements within panimalar college will be a best one.

The food they provide was good. They provide both breakfast and lunch which they charge in the college fees which is compulsory.
Saturday's are mostly a non working day when comparedto other colleges it's an advantage

Dislikes

Even though it's a co-ed college, girls and boys are not allowed to talk with each other. If they talk they are ashamed in front of their parents.
Mobile phone, laptop are not allowed. Which as a computer science student is a joke where everything you learn is only the assumption how the code will work or theory which you have to mug up.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They offer wide variety of course but the industry relevance is as like other colleges which doesn't teach the real world skills instead just theoretical knowledge. They teach you only with board and sometimes take you to AV halls. The teachers should teach stuff in a more practical way. They have to code along or atleast project how the process will look and work in the class. We have 2 internal exams based on the sem dates. 1 St internal covers unit 1&2. 2 nd internal covers unit 3,4,&5 And if time permits they will keep 3rd internal where we have to write the exam for the whole syllabus.

I liked the green campus, the transport facilities , maintaince was good

Dislikes

I don't like the rules of this college, very strict, no co- education

Placement Experience:

Only on the seventh semester companies will come to campus for hiring students and certain criteria are there to be selected for that and this year the percentage of students placed have been informed by the management as 87 percentage some people will avoid placement and they just go for higher education either in same college or other college through entrance exams

I like the environment of the College. It is full of plants.
The food provided by them was well organised and tasty.

Dislikes

I don't like about the rules and regulations.
The college is too strict and even phones are not allowed.

The course I joined was Computed Science and Engineering. The course gave me more knowledge and I studied well. The faculty were so friendly and taught well. The teaching method was so useful and I gained knowledge.

after completing 7 th sem they can avail for placement.accenture made 40 offers,tcs offeed 50,cts,zoho,wipro made 10.and core companies like saint gobain, catepillar, renault nissan is also recruted students.highest package in 25 lpa in triology and lowest package in 3 lpa in tcs.about 95%get paced.my plan to get a job in zoho

In the Final Year of the 5th semester, you will get the placement. like large companies TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS etc. They will prepare you for the placements. 4.5 LPA. You must complete the degree without arrears to get easily placed in companies.

The staff are very good, professional and very excellent at teaching and I have choosen this course because I'm very much interested in coding and I love computer science. The student ratio is per class each and every class there are 60 students. It's easy to get pass marks.
