SJIT Chennai Admission Dates 2026

SJIT Chennai BE/B.Tech admissions for 2026-30 are through TNEA 2026 counselling by Anna University. No entrance exam is required. TNEA rank is based purely on 10+2 PCM average marks. ME and MBA admissions follow TANCET 2026 and Anna University PG counselling.

SJIT Chennai Courses and Fees

SJIT Chennai offers BE, B.Tech, ME, and MBA programmes. The government quota BE/B.Tech fee of INR 2.20 Lakhs for four years is regulated by the Tamil Nadu government. Management quota seats cost INR 3.48 Lakhs for four years.

BE and B.Tech Admission

• Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognised board. Minimum 45% aggregate. Biology stream candidates may be eligible for specific branches.
• TNEA rank is computed purely on the basis of 10+2 PCM average marks (no bonus marks for NCC, Sports, etc. in the TNEA rank formula).
• 65% of seats are allotted through TNEA government quota. 35% are management quota seats.
• Being a Christian minority institution, SJIT may reserve a portion of seats for Christian community candidates under Tamil Nadu minority institution norms.

ME and MBA Admission

ME and MBA admissions are through TANCET 2026 and Anna University PG counselling. ME eligibility requires a BE/B.Tech in the relevant or allied branch. MBA eligibility requires graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks. Both programmes use TANCET scores for Anna University counselling allotment.
