Admission Criteria
Admission to all under graduate courses is through an entrance test.
Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
Candidate should have passed 55% marks in aggregate in Intermediate or equivalent examination recognized by the Lucknow University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Course Details
B.Sc. Biology-Zoology, Botany, Chemistry (ZBC)
The institute offers undergraduate programmes, namely - B.Sc under 3 specializations, B.A and B.Com for which admissions are on the basis of entrance examination.
The minimum eligibility required for getting admission into all these courses might be relaxed for the Christian candidates.

- Things I like about Isabella Thoburn College was the chemistry department of the science building . The teachers of chemistry department are the best ones there , very helpful and also providing so many useful information.
- Attention to detail: The best thing is that we were never left confused or with anything.We were provided every information with details.
Dislikes
- Practical files : As we are bsc students, practical files are a must .And obviously we have to make them,but the amount of pages teachers give is insane . For a practical file of 10 marks we are drawing and writing 150-200 pages per subject .
- Canteen : The hygiene should improve in the canteen .Also they don't have any good thing to eat too.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The year wise fees that I paid for bsc first year self finance seat was 23,500. It was divided like this Tuition fees : 17000 Annual fee: 3500 Security money : 2000 SGA: 1000 The regular seat of the same course ( bsc biology) is cheaper than the self finance seat. The second year fees that I paid was 22,500 for bsc biology . It was divided like this ( Tuition, annual and security fees)= 21,500 ( that was submitted in the form of a demand draft . SGA fees = 1000 The second year fees for regular student is 12,590. It is divided like this Tuition fees : 4590 Annual fee : 5000 Vocational fees :3000 The scholarship available to us was the one provided by the up government. It was available for every student . The UP government gave 5-10k to the selected or needy ones.

- I like the environment if the college and i like its open area as it gives so much freshness as we never felt sleepy due to this.
- I like its open garden area so much the flowers, the tress are so overwhelming.
Dislikes
- The thing which I don’t like is that every class is so far away that it takes so much time to go to the next class
- I felt some partiality between Regular and SFS Students.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fees is moderate not so high not low. Uttar Pradesh Government Scholarship are there for backward class of students. There is so many Internship which are available for students of 2nd and last year..

- I likes the garden area where we can relax with a beauty of flowers and trees shrubs
- I like the library because it contains all types of books including academic and novel magazine etc
Dislikes
- Class facilities like fans are too slow and there was no sufficient light in the class
- Official process are very slow,it takes a long time

The fee for the regular students is affordable but SFS students are quite costly because the education they are providing is same in both but they mostly emphasize on the regular students.The scholarship is also given to the students according to their percentage

- Professor are very well concerned about the students studies. They guides students the right path
- Though campus is not much big but it is very beautifully mentioned
Dislikes
- Canteen is was much better in our college
- Classroom was not in good condition in science department
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee hike is around 15000 and it depends on the courses. Government scholarships are given. Christian scholarship to Christian students. Internship opportunities from different colleges are also provided for the students.
Likes
- Large campus, fresh environment, Faculty members, teaching techniques.
- Positive environment, new things to learn
Dislikes
- The campus is not provided with wifi, cleaneanesss issues in the garden areas.
Fees and Financial Aid:
There are two sections of admission. Regular and Self-financed depending upon the marks obtained in the entrance exam. If the number hikes above the cut-off, the child can take admission by paying extra money asked by the college. The average fee for self-financed is 24,000/year and for a regular student is 13,000/year. For the regular student, the amount gets decreased. The scholarship has several rules and regulations and is limited. The college provides several internship programs who are interested to get a job after this. No such financial assistance is provided apart from scholarships.
Likes
- The campus is strategically located so its easy to commute, a metro station is nearby located.
- The ambience, discipline and the efficient faculty is like a cherry on the top.
Dislikes
- Fees was to be paid at the college's bank branch
- The rule that no one can leave the college before 12:00 pm noon.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Two types of courses were offered -regular and self-finance. The fee for Self-finance was around 25,000/per year but the regular courses were for around 10,000 per year. The classes were held separately for both. I was a regular course student. Many scholarships like Sarah chaako, Sumangla Kanya yojana etc were provided to meritorious girls by the college and the Uttar Pradesh government.

The fee structure was well organised though it was a bit costly the services provided at that cost were okayish. The actual cost to study was around 20000/year. I didn't apply for a scholarship so can't say about that.

Fees are quite affordable. For my course, B.Sc Bio fees are nearby 10000. Also, the college offers certain scholarships to meritorious students. Apart from that their is a placement cell functioning as well providing in campus placements.

The college provide scholarship to needy students. Their is special scholarship for the Christian students who scored 60% above percentage in their exam.This scholarship is from the foreign country And the scholarship is specially for poor family who can't afford the college fees.they provide whole year fees of the college n hostel .
