The classrooms at the college are quite spacious and well illuminated. The view of the large grounds from the classrooms is pleasing.

Hindustan College of Arts and Science comprises well equipped laboratories for each academic program, such as Microbiology Laboratory, Biotechnology Laboratory, Computer Laboratory, Costume Design Laboratory, etc. A total of 50 laboratories serve the diverse academic programs taught at the institution.

The central college library is supervised by the Library Management System. It comprises an impressive collection of 50559 books and subscribes to a total no. of 123 national as well as international journals and CD/DVD services. It has audio visual facilities, seminar hall, and a digital counterpart. The college also has subscriptions for National Digital Library, Delnet to aid students with well rounded academic guidance.

Staffs are supportive and cheerful, motivates extracurricular activities

What is the total fees of the course?

Totally i had to pay 34,000 rs including every tution fee and also if it is for other activities I need to pay it from my own pocket, hostal fees is from 65,000 to 75,000 per year . There are financial aid from the college for the students who have parental problems and financial issue , and other scholarship for students from the same district, state. Poor food quality in hostal , and good stuffs , and really good campus for studying, library is peaceful, and 5 to 6 computer labs , and other labs for practice skill improvement,

All necessary facilities are given to the students
My life at hicas has been blissful. Not every student here is good but, there is pros and cons everywhere

Dislikes

Sometimes the college becomes very strict. Like they would ask you to cut your hair and shave your beard

I applied for HICET, an institute of hindustan that is for engineering but I did get enrolled as my cut off is lower than expected, and when i came to coimbatore I first visited HICAS and got to know about this course so I enrolled in here

The college ambiance is really good as it is very pretty and provides a good atmosphere.
The college infrastructure is really beautiful and its good looking with a lot of beautiful trees.

I actually didn't apply in much colleges as we came and joined with friends. The cutoff marks is 75% in 12th marks and there are few departments such as data science which will say maths is mandatory in 12th.

The college campus is actually full of trees and provide a vibrant atmosphere for everyone's.
The surroundings are well maintained and it's clean everywhere. There are places to sit everywhere in the campus.

Dislikes

The bathrooms are slightly unclean but the campus bathrooms are clean and well maintained

I dint apply in many colleges as I heard this was one of the best college so I only applied in this and got admision for the same. The cut off marks is 75% in school 12th grade and few departments may mention what subject is needed and will only be admitted accordingly.

Applications are accepted through both offline and online modes. HCAS flagship course is B.Com and B.Sc. The institute also offers various PG courses such as MBA, M.Com and MA along with M.Phil and Ph.D courses. Admission to all the UG courses is merit-based. Admission to MBA and MCA is based on TANCET scores. Final selection for MBA is based on Group discussion and Personal Interview round. Admission to Ph.D is based on TANCET scores followed by an interview round.

At Hindustan college of arts and science college, course fees are different for each UG and PG courses. At UG label, course fee for MSc Microbiology is INR 30,000 for the first year. There is a separate hostel for boys’ and girls’ candidates who are pursuing UG or PF courses at this college. The hostel fees for female candidates ranges from INR 55,000 to INR 1,20,000 whereas the fees for male candidates ranges from INR 62,000 to INR 80,000.

HICAS Coimbatore does not charge hostel fee semester wise. It is charged year wise. The hostel fee varies from INR 55 thousand per year to INR 1.02 lacs per year (depending on the number of facilities you take in the hostel). This includes the mess charges INR 40 thousand per year.
