I chose this course as i love working on computers . I will learn softwares like photoshop, illustrator, lightroom, indesign on 1st year and things go crazy on second year like you will learn maya, nuke, premiere pro and many other animation softwares. The exams are easy and the practicals are tough

Hey there! I paid 1 lakh rs per annum per as fee, It will be like 50k per semester and there is yearly 2 semesters. Yes the fees is increasing gradually as the course is blooming. Labs are free as we almost always stay in the lab. There will be semester exam fee like 2k

Annual cultural will be held on february secobd week, its name HILARICAS (HILARIOUS+HICAS). the event will last a week and ends with sports day. Other event also occurs like HIBOT for robotics VIBRANCE, ROYAL EXPO, CRYPTINAS, these are intercollegiate fests and GAMEATHON is for graphic design dept. Since we own a huge indoor and outdoor auditorium we have many musical fest like retro fest, yuvan concert, karthick concert etc and indoor auditorium host debate shows and auditions Every book related to your study will be available and some other books like harry potter is also available Many clubs like sports club , NCC, ROTARACT CLUB, LIONS CLUB, SCULPTING CLUB, FLIM CLUB, PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB, ANIMATION CLUB are recruiting students

Hostel is okayish , we are provided with cots and I choose a 6 sharing room Super deluxe- 2 sharing with ac will be 98k + with attached bathroom Deluxe-4 sharing is 88k + attached bathroom Semi deluxe- 6 sharing with common toilet and bathroom Hot water for drinking and bathing is available, my room is very spacious, it could even hold 10 peoples Hostel food menu could be better cuz both sambar and puli kulambu would taste the same , but its edible ofcourse, and snacks will be given every evening along with tea coffee and milk Food quality is not so great , it would make you lose weight.

I applied for HICET, an institute of hindustan that is for engineering but I did get enrolled as my cut off is lower than expected, and when i came to coimbatore I first visited HICAS and got to know about this course so I enrolled in here

There is a total of 6 to 8 subjects a semester. Student should take the language they studied on 12th as their subject. Faculties are very approachable , we could have them help at their free time. There is 1st internal which is written and next is 2nd internal that is online and then model and finally semester

A gym is available within 100mts from the campus for gym rats, there is 6 to 8 canteens within the campus, but there is also cafeterias outside the campus. Usual hangout spot is the basketball court and NAMMA HINDUSTAN spot, and then the campus in timing is 9pm after that the main gate is closed but we could enter with an outpass The locality is quite safe cuz we are at the middle coimbatore and the neighbourhood has many girls hostel and people are very calm and friendly
