- Hindusthan College is good when it's comes to infrastructure and education. They conduct so many programs, workshops, webinars and others for the sake of students. The overall experience was very good.
- The hostels are good compared to other pg's. The hostel rooms and food are better than other hostels.
- Teachers are very friendly and they allow students to organize programs and workshops so that we can learn team work and organizing skills.
Dislikes
- Teachers were changing often so that was one thing that we didn't like.
- No proper tours and trips during college days.
- College hostel wardens are very strict and no outings.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have completed my bachelor's degree in food processing technology and management. This course is not so popular now but soon it will be. Because all of us depend on food for survival and we use so much of processed food products now a days. So in future we have a lot of scope in this field. But now it is still unrecognised. In this course we learn about processing food products in industries, the machinaries used in the industries and their working principles. We will also learn about foods and their nutrients and their chemical nature in detail. This course is very interesting if you are interested in learning this. And also you can produce your own products and start a bakery or restaurant or do business.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of hindusthan College of arts and science is not too high or not too low , it has an average fee structure. For bachelor's degree we need to pay around 25k per semester, which means 50k per year( semester fees only). Yeh, there is availability of scholarships for first graduates and based on caste system. I don't think we have campus employment opportunities.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is really good. You will good spacious classrooms and nice auditoriums. We will have programs and some functions often. They say HILARICAS is the best event. We will have workshops and career development programs. They conduct competitions often so you can show and improve your talent.
Hostel Facilities
College Hostels are very good in hindusthan College. Some may feel that the food is not good untill you explore pg hostels. You will feel the food is much better in college hostel. The staffs are very strict in college hostel. We have normal,deluxe, deluxe with ac, and ultra deluxe hostel rooms. The fee structure differs accordingly. But you won't have freedom to go out after 5pm.
Admission
You can apply online or offline. Go to the college's official website and you can apply. There is no entrance exams in hindusthan College of arts and science. You have to upload the required documents (e.g. marksheets, passport size photo). If you apply offline you must full the form and attach the required documents. It is a simple procedure if we do it sincerely.
Faculty
The teaching staffs are highly qualified but lecturers in our department ( food processing technology and management) were completely new to teaching field. So the teaching was not very effective. But we had friendly relationship with our teachers. They provided us with all the notes and stuffs during exam preparation and they were ready to help us whenever we asked them.
