Likes

The infrastructure was good as there were many trees inside and it is a good experience for me to be there.

It contains arts and engineering. Engineering is strict than arts.
Engineering students should follow more rules and should be in class by morning 8:45
They also follow dress code as formals everyday. It is one of a drawback on my opinion

Student view on course curriculum

The exams were not difficult as it is easy only. They conduct semester exam on continuous days but it is easy for us to manage. As im interested in computer science so i just joined BSC CS. You can join in which field you are interested in.

Top companies providing internship

There are many placement available. You can expect companies like wipro, cognizant, Infosys, zoho and also starup companies. If we get selected in any of the company they will give you attendance and allow you to work there

Placement provided by the college

They will start placement training on your second year and it is very useful as they will teach you every thing including every topics in aptitude, problem solving, group discussion and how to behave while attending interview. 75% lf students will get placed and some of them didn't.

Yearly fees of the college

The fees is very low as i had studied Bsc Cs. For that i just paid 28000 per year. They just ask you to pay the tuition fees and it is low only. They didn't ask you any other fees. They didn't ask you to pay for any functions, competitions etc.

College fests and various activities

They will conduct a function called "pranaya" Which is held every year. It contains various events they also include other college students.They didn't ask money for that. We can use library whenever we need it. There is also sports and extra curriculae activities offered. We can join if we are interested

Student views on the faculty

The faculties in karpagam college is just awesome. There gets mingle with the students easily. We didn't feel them as faculties as they are like our mother and friend. I'm lucky to have a good HOD and staffs as they all are good to us . They share their story with us and is it very helpful and interesting. In exams every subject is easy as they also provide us question bank

Why student choose the campus

I didn't applied for any other colleges than this. As this is located on main road and there is no problem for transport. So i choose this college. In some colleges there is no transportation and it us difficult. But here j didn't face that situation

Night life inside the campus

There is a canteen and everything is affordable and tasty. We can also use gym if needed. Girls hostel is little strict than boys. Girls are not allowed outside the hostel after 7'o clock. Outside that college there are many shops and restaurants where we always hang out

The hostel food ,the food court food , and the rules ,where you need to got to college before 8.40 or else you will be not allowed inside the college

Admission:

I got selected in sastra, it was a super better college than the karpagam but I got selected for mechatronics course as I didn't like the course and need to choose the ai I choosed karpagam even 8 tried ai in sastra but they were no possible option so i choosed the karpagam college of engineering.

The good, the bad and everything in between at Karpagam Institute of Technology

My campus always had a clean environment. It has a really greenish and eco-friendly exposure, which really helps us to calm ourselves down and stay relaxed whenever we feel stressed.
I love how the students of our campus stay united whenever we organise events and cultural fests.
We always have good interaction with the faculties about the pros and cons about our campus.

Dislikes

Also our college starts a bit early in the morning (8:45 am), which I personally dislike.
The thing that triggers me in our campus is whenever fests or cultural celebrations are conducted, we face a lot of politics within departments even though the students are united.

Admission:

I didn't apply for any other colleges as my high school cutoff was not high enough, but i had 81% result. I chose this college as my cousin was studying in the same university as mine, but different campus. I preferred Karpagam Institute of Technology, as it was the smallest among all the other campus of our university. I preferred a small campus as I am always comfortable with less crowdy environment. The process of admission was to go to the university and we'll be lead to a follow specific process that differs for students with different cutoffs in high school.
