My plans are to do masters as graduation today can give you job opportunities like our college does. From Hindustan Times to various other media houses and popular YouTube channel owners who need content are the ones who provide jobs to English Hons Students. I want to do something beyond this and therefore I will definitely approach more studies post this.

- Hansraj College has more outsiders ratio than other colleges of DU and this makes it best choice college for outsiders.
- Infrastructure is amazing as Hansraj College has an hostel too and for outsiders it can't get better than this.
- Politically our election chaupal is used by various media houses during news debates.
Dislikes
- Local delhites claiming the college the college to be their own and keeping outsiders away from university and college elections.

Placement Experience:
For English Hons receptionist jobs are the main roles that were offered. From tourism to various other streams the companies always comes in large numbers and also hired students in large numbers. Almost 75% students in the last three years have been placed from our college. My plans is to do masters from abroad after finishing my graduation which will be done this year.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is a little bit outdated but is being worked upon regularly. The fundamentals are taught well and is good for covering basic knowledge but not enough to be applied in real worldbut the teachers help us throughout.

- No scholarships on purely merit basis of those who don't have financially weak background.
- Strict environment with script discipline like school
Placement Experience:
Average placement package last year was 7.90 LPA. So, overall very beneficial for BCOM and economics students since they get placements. Would have preferred some wide ranging placement availability on the basis of skills than course.

- The things which i liked the most about my college is the opportunities that they provide, there are more than 50 college societies in which you can enroll yourself and you will get learn alot of things.
- There is also an internship cell and placement cell in my college which provides you internships on a regular basis which gives a corporate experience and makes you prepared well for the placements.
- The faculty is highly qualified and very supportive, they understand students problem and tries to help them. The atmosphere is great because each & every student here is a topper which increased the competitiveness.
Dislikes
- The only thing which i disliked about my college is the administration because sometimes it works very slowly.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placement from 5th semester. There are really big companies like BCG, Bain & company, Big four, zomato, paytm, HDFC, ICICI,Goldman sachs etc. Which visits our campus for recruitment purpose. The highest package of this year is 36.5Lpa & average package is 8.63Lpa.
The profiles which were offered for the students are for Consulting, sales and Marketing, investment banking, Accountant, HR, Finance, Content writer, etc. The percentage of placements is between 50 to 60%. I will pursue higher education after this degree and i will also sit for the placements.

- My College is unique from all du college because it follows time table and teacher are very responsible and campus was very clean
- Teachers are Very well equipped with relevant experience
- Campus area and environment was very safe
Dislikes
- Nothing to dislike everything is good we have canteen that very much nice
- But in canteen pricse little bit high but overall good
- One more thing is some rooms were very small
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course is BA history honours its was Very much good i think its better from other science courses because i think history help to develop thinking power. In exam we have 3 hours for main exam core subjects like vac sec who was only 30 marks have 1 hours

- I like the playground of my College which is large in area and there are many sports available like volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, hockey, archery,kho-kho etc. So if you are a person who interested in sports this is the right college for you.
- There are also many events, programmes and seminars which will provide skills, knowledge and experience about various fields by the experts who are the big personality in those careers.It can also take you ahead in that career with a rapid speed.
- The teaching structure of the college is also very good as there is a very large number of faculties of different subjects with a long experience in their life with various types of degrees and courses.They will available to teach you every time.
Dislikes
- The thing,I disliked is the teachers are mostly strict if you will break their rules they will also give you punishment as not giving you attendance for the day,just because of your mistake even if you are present.
- The college is very far from my home it take 2 hours daily to take me to college everyday.It means everyday my 4 hours gone in travel,but I can also manage that by doing some useful activities during the travel.
Placement Experience:
The college provides placements in various types of big companies.The company persons visit the college to the students who are going to get graduated in the year and take their interview.For impressing them you should score high cgpa out of 10 let's say 8-10 will be better rather than that you should also have a lot of skills, knowledge, experience, expertise,a brilliant resume,CV which you have gained in your past college years.Then you will get the placement through the college.The pay for placement will be very good like from 8L/p.a. to 10L/p.a.

- all the classes are air conditioned which makes it easy to survive in summers
- the ground of hansraj college is well maintained
- there is a huge pool of students so its easy to make connections
Dislikes
- During the election time the candidates randomly crashes into a class to speak about them and their vision for college
- the campus size is too small for the amount of people that it holds
- Usually its difficult to get a permission to organize an event in the sports ground
Placement Experience:
there is a scope of placement in Hansraj college. I am currently working in the placement cell of hansraj college and the average LPA of our college is 7-8 LPA which is decent most of the placements are for economics and commerce students the highest package from our college was 23 LPA so although there is a possibilty of placement and if not then the alumni network of hansraj helps and all the connections you made in the college helps to get a job.

- I love the vibe and environment here. It's just very peaceful and safe
- You'd love the crowd here every body is doing something awesome and will help you explore your awesomeness.
- I love the library too it's just so peaceful and perfect for self studies.
Dislikes
- What I find bad about Hansraj is it has loads of monkeys in the campus which is dangerous since they even attack students some times.
- The toilets here are not very well managed and flushes and mirrors are not missing sometimes.
- It's not great to count on Hansraj when it comes to event's. It's not very happening when comes to fests and events.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose economics bc I personally loved economics plus the maths teacher for economics is very supportive and helpful. She's good at teaching. Meanwhile the pressure is real that you'll have to deal with it , the teachers are nice but the curriculum is quite tirring along with the society work. Tests and project's are given on regular basis

- Faculty is highly qualified and are friendly towards the students and ensure that the learning environment is approachable.
- Crowd of the college is a blend of varieties of identities in terms of people from different backgrounds and mostly are good and helpful and do not have a snooty attitude
- Hostel facilities are good, in terms of space, rooms are small and are double sharing but in terms of food quality it's far better than PGs and tiffin services and other hostels.
Dislikes
- College campus is comparatively smaller, and there is a lack of good quality infrastructure especially for sports
- Principal is strict and therefore discipline needs to be maintained in terms of attending classes, behaviour within the campus, etc.
- Most likely hostel will be dismantled very soon.
Placement Experience:
Students sit for placements from the fifth semester onwards. Majorly placements are focused for students pursuing economics and commerce, comp. Sci. Hons. course, however courses of math hons., etc., also get placed at good companies. Some big names come to Hansraj including LEK, Goldman Sachs, BCG, BCN, Alvarez nd marsal, DeShaw JPMorgan, etc., the highest package is by DeShaw of 22LPA this year, and the avg. package is about 8 lakhs. There a. Lot of offers made students can check out the placement cell of Hansraj College for exact details on Instagram handles. My core plan is to sit for placements.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.
Here are some of the best things about the institute.
- This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
- The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
- It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
- Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
- Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
- There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
- The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
- North Campus has the best college location.
You will not regret choosing the institute.
