Insightful Journey: A Realistic Review of My College Experience

Likes

I appreciate the faculty's moderate expertise and their willingness to support students. The personal Development programs were descent, helping me improve skills like communication and leadership, rating 7/10
The infrastructure, while not top-notch, met basic academic needs with average facilities
The girls-to-boys ratio was balanced, allowing for diverse perspectives in discussions and collaborations

Dislikes

The Campus lacked a vibrant social life, making it hard to fully engage with peers outside academics.
Teaching methods varied, and the faculty's expertise wasnt' always upto standard, leading to a less than ideal learning experience.
Placements opportunities were almost non-existent, and career support was weak . The infrastructure was only average, rating 6/10, which affected the overall experience.

In my college students become eligible for placements starting from 6th semester. a few companies visit, with around 5 offers made . The highest package made till date is of 8LPA and average package is of 1.5LPA. onlu a small percentage of students secure placments. After completing my degree, I have planned to pursue higher studies by giving the GATE exam in CS.

Faculties are good in teaching and study's

Dislikes

They won't have there own canteen dor watumall
There is no gymnastics room in tha college

Computer Engineering uses principles from Computer Science and Electrical Engineering to create hardware (physical components) and firmware which are used in a wide range of areas: consumer electronics, medical devices, communication systems, aircraft, self-driving cars, etc.

After 12 my interest goes to engineering field and especially in coding that way I do Computer Engineering Each Subject have one teacher and teaching of all teacher is good have 10 to 12 year experience in this field

Teaching method is good,staffs behaviour is good
Near to station,not much to travel and also saves time
Teachers are friendly at some point but can be worst at some point

Dislikes

Never never apply for any internship our college provides,they have the worst referrals
College is not responsible for any refund if you don't want to enroll for internship once you applied
They always provide industrial training but not internship

As I have talked to seniors,they have said companies do come in our college to hire people,but at the end the salary would be less.and i would suggest you pls don't be dependent about college placement,always set a goal for an offcampus placement,up skill your self and you are good to go,by the way this year 5 companies did came to our college

There are many faculty who are helpful and are good.
There is good space available outside college building.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not very good from inside.

Placement Experience:

There are some placement opportunities but only if you have a very high C.G.P. You can opt for placement from outside the campus and you have to take your own efforts for your own placements and have to work on your own.

Dislikes

Syllabus not so great ,for fe cs not use to study mechanics,Chemistry, physics subjects .
Shouldn't include programming language in fe

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am passionate so I opt for Computer Engineering. Watumull institute WIEECT's firstly college in the world shifted to Ulhasnagar in 2017. They currently operate Computer and EnTc department . Faculty members, teachers, staff and all others are very good in this college. Teachers teach nice and quality teaching here than in other colleges. Mostly fe teachers and the Cs branch have great faculty. Exams conducted in college are with due respect, no copying is done here on a strict basis.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester i.e 3rd year. some of the companies such as Infosys, Accenture, BNP Paribas, Zeus Learning, etc visited the campus. The avg package offered was between 3-4 LPA. The highest package was offered was 6 LPA. Most students get placed off-campus.

Jouney Towards Great Destination

Placement Experience:

The placement of in college is good but not best. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. TCS, JPMC, Accenture, Capgemini are the companies I know that visited. And till now 49 offers are made, the highest package is 12LPA and average package is 6.5LPA around 90% of students are getting placed. My plan is to do a job after getting a degree.

Remarks:

Management is pretty good in terms of college facilities and providing adequate study material and lab equipments for the students. Though I would say library is a very old and could use some new and trending books and could include new genre of books.
