Jouney Towards Great Destination

Everything is good in college from infrastructure to teaching methodologies. There are many organised events for students. Every cultural festival is also celebrated. There are many tech events also to participate. And the main thing placement success rate is also good. But I think there should be more of an organised sports club in college so that students can be physically active. The admission was through mahacet.com and admission dates were from 10th of June to 5th of July for me. The reason I preferred this college is mainly that it's near to my home so I don’t have to travel too far and many freinds had suggested me this college. I also searched on quora forum to know more about this college. So totally overall great experience.

I always wanted to be a software engineer so this course was perfect for me to choose. About the faculty: student ratio its 5:60. All of the faculty have qualification of Masters and PHD in their own field so its great experience to learn from them. And their teaching method is best I had ever experienced. The term exams were once every five months and unit exams were every two months. And it was not very difficult to pass the exam if we studied well for atleast one month before the exams and we can clear them easily.

The placement of in college is good but not best. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. TCS, JPMC, Accenture, Capgemini are the companies I know that visited. And till now 49 offers are made, the highest package is 12LPA and average package is 6.5LPA around 90% of students are getting placed. My plan is to do a job after getting a degree.

The fee was constant every year that is 124000 every year so there was no fee hike but there was a fee hike of 5% for newly admitted students. I also got Rajshree Shri Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj Scholarship from which came to bank account directly from Mahadbt and we had to apply through Mahadbt only. I got Job on TCS as Technical Support Analyst which was On-campus placement and stipend was Rs25500.

The life at the campus was great people were very social and interactive. The clubs were formed by students committee itself for gaming and indoor sports. The infrastructure was great it was 7storey building with all tech labs and fully facilitated classrooms and all the amenities. The annual fest name was Watumull Grand Fest. It was conducted in February of every year. The tech fest name was Future Coders which was conducted in June, December, April. There were all amenities that a highly equipped classroom has from A/c to projector everything. As said earlier there were less of sports club activities but there were extracurricular activities such as GD, Debate, Quiz and much more. There are social groups and clubs such as Indoor Champs for students interested in indoor games, Socially Awkward for students interested in GD, Debate, Quiz and much more.
