- A separate hostel has been given to you by the college side in which the rent is 8000 rs per month including food don't worry hostel are well.
- You can get many types of scholarships, college will definitely help you to get scholarships, teachers are helpful in this.
- The placement percentage is quite good around 95%.companies like amazon, tcs, wipro, mahindar, infosys and more comes here every year for recruitment.
Dislikes
- Scholarships are easily available for the west bengal domicile students but there will be some chaos for others.
- I went to techno admission centre in chingrighata but was in vain and then i contacted the sir who was in charge of admission process, he told me to just go to their college and i just got admission.
- I hate the thing is that our college doesn't have it's own hostel and a very small ground in college campus

- The college management is really up to the mark. I am from the computer science and engineering department.

- There are a lot of extra clubs which are not so functional.

Placement Experience:
Our college provide really good placements if the student is really eligible for employment. There are adequate no. Of companies visiting the campus. Some big companies are - MICROSOFT, LAB VANTAGE, DELTAX, RTCAMP, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, IBM, MUSIGMA, TIGER ANALYTICS, KEY SIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, KEYENCE, MANIKARAN POWER, TCS, E&Y etc. The highest package is around 20 lpa and the avarage is around 5 - 6 lpa. Placements are better for cse, it and ece. The core branches have mediocre placements.

- The college follows a strict academic schedule with a rigorous curriculum. Each subject is given equal weightage throughout the semester.
- The teachers are attentive to each and every student. They make sure that no student is left behind academically and in terms of basic responsibilities.
- The college emphaises on sports as well as other competitive events as well. They include quizes and literary events.
Dislikes
- The college should focus more on lab work than the theoretical part of the curriculum.
- Too much of an emphasis on theory makes the students go on a competitive race for scoring and getting a placement rather than developing skills first.
- Sometimes regional language barrier may seem visible on the surface.
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course is information technology in B.Tech graduation. The curriculum is decided by MAKAUT,WEST BENGAL as our college is affiliated to it.
As for academic pursuits one will find fair amount of knowledge. One can even apply it for further research. It should shorten the 3hr long lab classes to short span classes during regular days of the week rather than just two days.
i wont complain about the examination schedule of this college. They take timley examinations both on theory and practical as predecessors to the semester exams. So the students are busy throughout the semester time in their academic pursuits.

- The library system is good. With many authors and writers available.
- The faculty is helpful and coperative.The faculty helps the students in their studies and day to day problems faced in the college.
- The classrooms are enough big to accommodate the strength chosen by the faculty.
Dislikes
- The labs are not very well equipped. The monitors and PC are back dated versions.
- The washrooms are not very well maintained and they stink.
- The faculties are not very helpful in the project work and personal academic life of the students.

From 4th year students are allowed to sit for placement. Tcs, wipro, Capgemini are the mass recruiters of our college. Other companies visit as well Deloitte, accenture and many more. The average package being is 4 lakhs per annum and the highest being around 10 lakhs per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The college reputation make me decide to join this college .. this is located at prime new town , Calcutta.. the most developed place of west bengal and the premise was wonderful.. the accomodation etc.

- College campus area is little bit small compared to other colleges

The placement of our college is also good , almost everybody gets placed, many companies came to our college, i am a little bit unaware of it.
In 7 th semester every student are eligible for campus placement

- Lab of the college is quite good and big .
- Teachers in lab are good and teach us properly
- Placement ratio is also quiet good as per our seniors told us.
Dislikes
- Campus is too small and even it don't have any ground it borrow everything from SNU .
- Most of the teachers are bengali so they speak many things in Bengali so it became difficult for non Bengali to communicate.
- Canteen food is just okay okay not so good.

I think from 7 semester you will get placement if you are a good student because afterall thiss all depends on your skill if you have skill you will get placement even more earlier . And this college will provide you placement in 7 or 8 semester.

- Boys girls ratio is decent ... Many girls are there in our campus
- We are not forced to where uniform.... But it is mandatory to where at lab
- Location is quite good... Most tech companies are very near
Dislikes
- Campus is very small.... I mean extremely small
- Teachers use bengali most of the time which makes us difficult to learn things
- They don't have good hostels and mess ... Its quite bad

Placement wise this college is quite decent.... The placement is quite better than most of the college here in Kolkata..
The placement percentage is 95 percent ...
Average pakage offered is 5 lpa
Companies like google Capgemini Microsoft and many more do take students
Off campus placement are also allowed here here.....
Companies head office are near to this college as well

- Faculty and teaching method are good and supportivr
- Classrooms are very big and fully air conditioned
Dislikes
- It shares everything, from campus to library and canteen with sister nivedita university. It doesn't own anything
- For someone who does not know to speak bengali, there campus life with be affected
Placement Experience:
During my first week of college, the placements were going on and as much as i get to know that the placement cells hepls the students in every way possible. Also i get to know higest package this year is 32 lpa

- I like the atmosphere of the college the college is very safe and have a good environment for the students .. it has its own hostel too... where there are many students are from outside state ...they can stay here in thee college hostel.
- College has anti ragging...this is the most good point
- The area around the college is very good

- The numbers the cgpa is not very good...
- Makaut give us lesser numbers...teachers also
- They gave lesser marks in every exam in other colleges it's opposite

The college placement is very good here
Ece has the highest placement and cse too
They have labs workshop
They brought different big companies
Capgemini cognizant TCS many companies come her
But mass recruitment is done here

- Few teachers are so good and supportive in nature
- College organisation does organise programs often
- Location of the college is for sure much better
Dislikes
- Bathrooms are of poor conditions and need to be improved urgently
- Makaut syllabus and it's questions pattern is quite unpredictable
- Not all facilities available are cooperative
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements
60 out of 100 students made up in the companies
And companies like Wipro TCS visits here and the package per annum is decent,not so much but on campus placements would lead you to grab a decent deal
I would like to advise you to go for or wait for off campus placements too
