There are certain restrictions no boys-girls interaction, no tours which could be changed. Also there should be interaction between student and alumni. Educational tours should be arranged.
Obviously it's a very good college but they are a little bit strict even small mistakes are considered as a big sin in this way they are lagging otherwise it's a nice college.
Very high standards in studies, very low standards in students, very high restriction, student live in very stressed environment, not a normal environment
I took CET after completing 12th in 2010.I scored 138 in Exam and attended the TNEA Counselling.After 2010,State has abolished CET exam and only marks scored in 12th is being considered for Engineering admissions.I was pretty confused and my parents wanted me to put in Chennai to get the city exposure.They required about the college and its placement record from a unknown source.Based on those information,my uncle chose the sairam engineering college.But I didn't expect that my college years will turn to be worst phase of my life.
Merit based entrance to this college is through Anna University Single Window Counselling which is based on Higher Secondary Exam marks scored in TN State board exams.
I was selected for another college through counseling but my brother referred this college and end of the day i realized his decision was good. I was a management admission student.
I didnt write any entrance exam to join in my college. I am from MBC caste(which is common cast in tamil nadu),and i got scored 90% in my 12 th exam and the cut off mark is 184. So this is the basic qualification to join in Sairam Institution.
I took IIT JEE examination and I scored 90 marks. But it is not mandatory to attend any of the exams given above to entre Sri sairam engineering college.
