VTU syllabus is a real headache. We have unnecessary subjects, regardless of our branch. The syllabus is not updated at all. All the university cares about is scoring in the subjects. But those subjects do not prepare you for the industry.
I opted a Mechanical in B.Tech because I had a passion for machines during childhood and moreover the placement done in this college are core company. Faculty over here treat us in a friendly manner and supportive and demonstrative teaching attracts the students towards the topic. The faculties over here are pursuing a master's degree and moreover good knowledge regarding their subject. There were three internal assets exams between every 6 weeks I didn't find tough to clear the exams. Even sem exam was conducted by VTU.
The fee structure is not very affordable as im doing a professional course which is mechanical engineering. As I have applied for scolarships so that is verymuch useful for us as students who are studying. Our college accepts cash and cheques.
Our college follows VTU bord, the teachers try their best to make the students understand the subject. The subject are ok for now but as year passes the syllabus keeps on changing. Hence every year there will be something new, at least a few changes in the subject. CSE/ISE students have project as part of subject. They have to build real world softwares. 3 mini projects will be there, one on database another on computer graphics and the last one on web. In the final year there will be a major project where students have to come up with new or improved software that will help others.
Feasible. But some times fines are more. Like if we doesn't participate on any celebration conduted by the college. And for the academics the fees structure was comparatively feasible for everyone. If we need to secure admission we can pay 10000? in advance that will be reduced from the total fees while paying the rest amount.
I got the seat in that college through K-CET. It's a nice college. So I chose it. Yes for all the answers. Very good college. So lucky that I joined it. The faculties are very good and friendly. Everyone supports. Fees is quite more.
My course is very interesting course. I think in our college there is no placements for our branch. Faculities are very friendly they help us in every situations. I think our branch facilities are very good than the other branches.
Tution fee is 90000 per year and hostel fee is 100000 per year and it is increased 10% every year some times. and you have to pay money for any fest like shambram, onam celebration and for some other programs and that may depend on situation fine is there for attendance
