Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available in our college offering many good packages of minimum 12 lakh per annum.almost 80 percent of atudents are getting placed After degree i am planning to pirsue myech is a good college

Life at RIT....

Likes

Well maintained class rooms and surroundings
Upgraded technologies in class rooms especially in labs
Clean and safe toilets ,there are college staffs for maintenance

Dislikes

Need to renew the old buildings, infrastructures
Need a change from black board to white board
Mostly it's a hill top area ,so a transportation within the college is needed

Placement Experience:

In the two years college provide help to crack the placement interviews,they arrange mock interviews for students. The placement companies includes shoba steels,ibm,infosys,hdfc,indian armed forces etc, the average package is 400000 lpa. 40-60 percentage students get placed

Here have more placement opportunities in each department, mostly cs department.
Much professional teaching faculty are available here.
So many technical fest are conducted by here and have very active clubs here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like this course is very much.It is very difficulty to study but very interesting. But placement opportunities in here is more for computer science students.There must be increase on placement opportunities for other departments here also.

Very beautiful campus, very large campus
Full of greenary,free colle bus available
Very small fee structure,so many clubs are there

Placement Experience:

So many companies are visiting our Rajiv Gandhi Institute of technology Kottayam A better placement is given to students Average 6Lpa So many core companies and software companies are visiting in collage

College help us to mould ourselves better
We have great environmental friendly campus

Dislikes

Here in hostels there will be water severe water shortage issues regularly
Lacks good food spots near collage.nearby shops have high price
Here policts is very less..most of the students here lack political knowledge

A first year day scholar experince after first semster

Likes

The societies are incredible. There are a lot of activitiess outside the class which helps to grow socially and technically. The events are conducted frequently.
Good surrounding with a positive vibe. Could be a good time with friends
Good placement cell especially for computer science

Dislikes

Each block is very much seperated meaning it very difficult to reach other blocks especially cse block which is pretty far from others. Icredibly difficult especially in summer
Certain labs contain equipment with is old, malfunctioning and may not give the needed results. Certain computers too may be tough to work on
Poor sylabus which maybe not attributed to the college yet it is largely outdated with socities being the way to study developments.

Placement Experience:

I am not very sure about placements, The placements start arounf 6 or 7th semester with a lot of differnet companies like TCS, IBM, cognizant, tarento. Job offers average of 3 lakh with highest of 6-7 lakhs. Arounf 80% students get place for cse with other branches may drop to below 50%.

The nature type environment the college provides
Climatic atmosphere of pampady kottayam gives the students a peaceful study atmosphere
A well supporting college union that never disappoints the one who asks for needs

Dislikes

Lots of dogs are seen in the campus and many students were bitten by dogs
A misogynistic problem solving way is seen in the union of the college most of the womens are not included from meetings of the union
The ladies hostel has a early curfew of 9 pm at night

Placement Experience:

Colleges does provide campus placement. Campus placement starts from semester 7 . And many big big companies like L and T, fleet managment, IBM, TCS does provide job opportunities and offers high salary packages .

Majority of teachers are very friendly with students
There are so many opportunity to make you perfect
There are so many enjoyable moments, like ritu, keli, etc.

Students from seventh semester are getting placed in various companies. Majority of the compines are from IT field. So in CSE department around 85-90% students get placed as per the past year. When comes to overall placement statistics it quiet average.

RIT College is average when it comes to academics but good when it comes to college reputation.

Likes

College is very vast. The campus is inside a diverse forest. It has several spots to sit and relax.
There are many fests, parties, occassions happened at this college within a few time. That is quite impressive. Since the college consists of different types of department we can make friends with every students all over the college.
It provides government college hostel which is quite good. Food quality is good.

Dislikes

The faculties are educated but they're not as much interested in teaching. Some teachers are good but some of them are targeting some particular students everyday.
The college facility is not as good as other government colleges. It needs more improvement in the case of laboratory of Chemistry, physics etc.
For the mens hostel they've no curfew but for ladies hostel they've to reach before 9:30pm ,Which is sad. Why should boys have all the fun?

Placement Experience:

I'm a first year student so I don't know the details about the college placements. But I know that for CSE placements are quite reasonable and good. But for civil department it's heartbreaking that they don't get enough placements. My plan after getting the degree is to take MBA from reputed institutions like IIM. The average package of salary is around 6LPA

RIT's things

Likes

I like the nature environment and surrounding.
The staff , faculty, senior are very helpful in studying and other things
The cultures and sports are very active and interesting.

Dislikes

Some time there was water scarcity issue it causes difficulty in daily activities
This place was very hot , can't walk without an umbrella.
Our department is at the topmost of the collage.so daily hiking to our department is so difficult.

Placement Experience:

At RIT Kottayam, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The college sees visits from top companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant, offering roles in IT and software development. The highest package is around ?12–15 LPA, with an average package of ?4–6 LPA. Approximately 70–80% of Computer Science students are placed. After graduation, I plan to work in a reputed IT company, focusing on AI or Machine Learning, and may pursue higher studies or certifications like AWS or Data Science to further enhance my career.
