Mentorship is good here and professor is well experienced here some are new , the interaction with teacher is good .
There is a merit cum scholarship provided to students having a family income of less than 5 lakhs per year and who maintain greater than or equal to 6.5 cpi or above in 1st semester.
The most important thing i like of my college is its beauty.

Dislikes

Hostel life is good but outside college campus there is as such no happening life and inside hostel there is gym , commercial complex , football ground , basketball ground , and mess food quality is average not that good
I also don't like the faculty it is not very trained
No single room is in hostel for each year and college is in outskirts

RGIPT and its goods

Likes

My colleges mess food is very eatable and tasty
My college hostel infrastructure is gud because we have lifts
Placements are very hood for petroleum branch

Dislikes

Infrastructure of college is less better than teachers quarter
Placements are very bad for it branches mainly computer science
Very less size of campus with less exposure even outside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science is currently in craze within students giving jee advanced exam. So I also chose computer science and engineering in btech degree because of seach of higher placements and better job opportunities

I liked the good infrastructure of this college.
I liked the faculties and mess food here.
I admired the extracurricular activities and sports as well as fests taking place here.

Dislikes

I do not like the remote location where this college is located.
I didn't like the process of getting holiday here to go to your home.
I didn't like some small things like there is no swimming pool in this college

Placement Experience:

The average package is 10,00,000. All the PSUs come to the college to hire students from Petroleum and Chemical Engineering branches. The placement of the tech branches is increasing as they were newly opened. The placement season starts from the 7th semester.

I liked the hostel and infrastructure here. As the college is new, I liked the infrastructure here.
I liked the library services here. Library opens from 8 am to 11 pm everyday.
I liked the placements rates of non tech branches like chemical here. Its good.

Dislikes

I disliked the mess food here. The mess food is average because its not changed after so much time.
I disliked the college area. It is located in a very remote place away from city.
Anything you need, you have to travel far for basic things. Also, the construction is going on.

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are good, This college specialises in placements for chemical and petroleum branches while tech branches are recently opened in this college so the placement opportunities are improving each year. Students are sent to bengaluru campus for their placements in their last year. The placement rate is around 90 percent here. My aim is for on campus and off campus placements both. Off campus placements are quite more competitive than on campus ones.

Not good placements for technical Branches

You can easily get into any college club and council and get hands on experience of organi
College Campus was built in 2016 so infrasture is good
Hostels are also good and spacious as two student are alloted one room unlike old iits old hostels

Dislikes

Very Bad Placements for the technical branches.
The college campus is very small and away from the main city.
Coding culture is not that good as it is other colleges

Placement Experience:

In the 7th semester we are eligible to sit for placements.In CSE 14 out 60 were placed and not much known companies visit college.Highest on-campus was 10 LPA and average was 8.1 LPA ,with median 9 LPA.

Such a small crowd and therefore students here mingle well and support each other.
College hosts all three fests be it sports fest, cultural fest or tech fest.
Lastly our institute is of much importance because most students from here work for PSU companies.

Dislikes

The campus is such a big but only 1/3rd of it is utilised as of now.

ONGC, Coal India, BEL, and other government companies that deals in electronics are here at our campus. Defense which is the biggest priority of our nation currently all the companies that built defense electronics are at our campus and not just offers the best job but also best roles too.

If education defines an University then ours is best as we may be far from top infrastructure or anything but in terms of education we are the best.
Faculties here are better than its peers like ISM Dhanbad and PDEU, Gandhinagar.
Only the core companies visit the campus and therefore students are placed in core companies from here.

Reliance Industries, Ongc, Aban Offshore, Vedanta and other who are metals and mining are the ones that com her for placements. I am in love with the placements as almost 80 or more students out of 100 are placed every year and with a starting salary of no less than 70-75k a month.

Likes

Students in college are less so you get better attention of the professor , you can ask them anything and they will help you.
The quality of the infrastructure is good , and amenities are also good.
Fest and college events are quite colorful and happening.

Dislikes

College is small as compared to the total students in the campus.
Many new branches are opening like mechanical and all , not that much of exposure here .
Placements are not that good , they shift the students to bengluru centre after the 3rd year.

Placement Experience:

As we are the third batch of our branch so our senior's placement will be starting this year onwards but in CSE branch they have passed thier first batch with a average package of 8 lacs per annum and placements are going on currently.

Selection based on IIT-JEE, so opportunity for students
Petroleum sector opportunity as it provides specialization
Good internship opportunity at Oil industries

Dislikes

Connectivity to major cities was issue to travel
Located around Rural area so can't go out much
Lesser students compared to large universities but it has advantage as well

Placement Experience:

Final semester students are eligilble for placements. Major Oil and Gas industries comes for placements as IOCL, PETRONET LNG, BPCL, ONGC etc. Such companies provides 10 lakh plus CTC. Amost 20-30 percen get campus placement oppourtunity. Rest students can also get placement through GATE exam. I did not apply for campus placemet. I started preparing for UPSC CSE

The infrastructure is top notch including state of art laboratories
The campus is a total of 147 acres out which 47 acres is developed
Faculties are top notch and trained in every aspect

Dislikes

Parking is not good

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good in energy sector with average package of about 15lpa as of 2024,however the first batch of computet science graduated in 2024 , with an average package of 9lpa, which in that aspect is pretty good, also considering the fact that many students choose higher studies, it's even better.

Option to opt for minor degrees which is generally not present in many colleges
Being a tag of Institute of National Importance
PSUs come for placements, majorly petroleum PSUs

Dislikes

Peer group is getting worst each year just because of their option opting for taking admission through JEE Mains
Placements are not good as of first batch for CSE as well as Electronics.
Fees is a bit high as compared to resources provided

Placement Experience:

As far as i have heard, the placement scene for Petroleum and Chemical Students is the best in whole India after ICT Mumbai, whereas for electronics and computer science the placements are much bad and are expected to get better in upcoming years but the value of the degree is quite good as the letter of reccommendation of faculty could really help you get into foreign universitites as far as i know the HOD of CSE is soo good.
