Approximately 80-90% of students are placed, with 100% placement in the chemical and petroleum branches last year. These branches achieved a top package of 24 lakh and an average of 10 lakh per annum. The first batch of CSE had an average package of 8 lakh. Internship opportunities are available in petroleum, energy management, and chemical engineering, with companies offering stipends from 10,000 to 1 lakh. Partnerships with tech giants like Microsoft and firms like EY and Amazon enhance internship prospects.
The tuition fee is approximately Rs 12,00,000 including a Rs 20,000 mess fee per semester, with a recent increase of Rs 5,000. There are no income-based fee waivers, but SC/ST students receive a 25% fee rebate. The Merit cum Means Scholarship of Rs 25,000 per semester is for students with a CPI of 6.5 or above and in the top 10% of their course. External scholarships, such as those from Reliance Industries, are available based on merit and need.
Despite high fees, the Return on Investment (ROI) is favorable, supported by government and private scholarships, including those promoting gender diversity in petroleum technology.
