Likes

Teachers are well qualified and educated they are very supportive and always ready to help students through various situations
There is pict art circle for art,music and acting enthusiastic students which very good for learning and as a community in college
The highest package was a remarkable 33 lpa with an average package of 12 lpa approximately 95% of students secured placements, a testament to the university's commitment to fostering employability.

Dislikes

The college mess is not so impressive and tasty
Canteen food is not so impressive and no sports facilities
Mess food quality is not too good except on Sunday.

My Honest Review of College ( PICT)

Likes

Very good placements, and experienced faculty
Event and fests are held every two months
Campus is good and campus Life is also good

Dislikes

Campus size is not that great needs expansion
Hostel capacity should be increased first
Sports ground should be maintained properly

On-campus placements of this college is great! You can get Highly paid here if worked properly and followed the recommendation of teachers. Ther are pletof club's here around 34 clubs anyone can opt. Best club is ACM and.

PICT is pure magic!!

Likes

PICT is to college and therefore attendance of 80% is mandatory here.
Our course is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University and it is the most commanding syllabus for engineering.
Our canteen is cheapest and even Bharti Vidyapeeth student come to our campus for lunch.

Dislikes

Balance of academics and extracurricular activities is not proper.

Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Google and others always wants techie who are good and they know that they won't find better than our college. Hence our college has just not became their favourite but also over 90% students from each batch are hired by then alone.

PICT is Pune's best

Likes

College is located in Dhanakwadi which is way far from hustle and bustle that Pune City has otherwise.
PICT is one of the top recognised college of Pune especially for CSE students.
College has more fests and events than our neighbour college Bharti Vidyapeeth.

Dislikes

Not many outsiders are a part of our college as maximum quota is of students from Maharashtra.

Placement Experience:

Capegemini trained us as they included their forte in our course and therefore in 2022 and 2024, they took over 100 students. PICT shook every other college when one out college students was offered an international placement offer by Microsoft worth 93 lakhs in 2023. This, I believe thus far is highest among Pune colleges.

Teachers and teaching quality also environment
Placement and seniors also classrooms etc
Library services and study room and their other services

Dislikes

Campus is very small so no more exploration in the college
Very strict college because there also provide ID card compulsory no admission or no entry without ID card
Various clubs are there but no more exploration in that the clubs are very new

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is also very good they also experienced faculties with experienced knowledge about that curriculum also current going topics are also included in there where AI and data science courses are also in their which are very useful for future and very fast community also for this

Our college is strict about discipline, attendance, and overall it is very strict.
Techers are good here. All syllabus is taught. They also clear the doubt.
Techers don't do timepass while teaching, they really teach required syllabus.

Dislikes

College life is not much enjoying, the extracurricular activities are not much
College campus is very small, literally campus is of 5 acres , including hostel.
Library size, comfortablilty is not much. Playing area and equipments are not much.

Placement Experience:

Our College placements are good our average packages are 14 lpa many companies prefer are college or other colleges due to our curriculum ,discipline. Almost all the students are placed for job after completing the 4yr course.

Placements College has good records of placement.
Specially dedicated to technologies no core branches like Mech , Civil.
Great alumni network. College aluminies works on different higher level positions in industry

Dislikes

Small campus - There is no space in college only 4 acres of campus
Attendance - You will need to attend the lectures for attendance. No matter if you don't understand anything
Too much crowd. College has small campus and High number of students intake

Placement Experience:

There is only one good thing in PICT that is the training and placement cell. PICT provides one of best campus placement in Pune. TnP staffs also good and supportive regarding placement queries. If you can be just an avarage in studies you will definitely get placed

Life in Pict for introvert.

Likes

There happens many cultural and coding related festivals and events.
No need of worrying about attendance in fouth year.

Dislikes

Girls to boys ration was little less like 3:7.
Campus was quite small with one building of hostel.
Always need to wear i card to enter in campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So timetable in the pict is really strict, and it is like 7-8 hours and sometimes attendance compulsory till the third year in fourth year, there is no need of attendance and the curriculum.The subjects were really boring as it is sppu university.

Know this things before going into PICT.

Likes

The biggest pro of PICT is it's Training and Placement Cell. More than 100 companies visit PICT during placement drives.
There is one of the best coding culture in PICT. They also organise their own hackathon
PICT is known for its good academics and yes it is there, the faculties of PICT is very well qualified.

Dislikes

There is no campus Life in PICT actually there is no campus just three bulidings and one small basketball court.
There is no playground for playing sports like cricket or football, no badminton court, there is only table tennis tables and one small room sized gym.
Attendance is biggest issue here. They call at home if your attendance is below 80% and you can't give exams if your attendance is less than 75%.

After 4th sem you can start applying for internships. More that 100 companies visit PICT during placement drives. Some of them are Barclays, Bank of New York, Deutsch Bank, phone pe, Accenture, etc.. The highest package offered in around 64lpa by a fintech company and average package is around 20 Lpa for computer engineering students. Above 90% students get placed in PICT. I am doing good in coding and will apply for internship after 2nd year

Life at PICT

Likes

1. The placements - College provides excellent placement as well as internship opportunities for students.
2.Coding culture - You will find very competitive environment when it comes to academics. Everyone is skillful.
3.Food and campus life - It's great ,though the campus is small, you will be always surrounded by great people around you. The food is good enough, you will get different varieties available at many times.

Likes

College has good coding culture and tech related activities are more conducted in college.
good peer network and seniors are helpful and are good potential for future networking opportunities.
Placements in PICT are quite good and placement support is also very well.

Dislikes

Campus area is too small (4 acres) and not good sports infrastructure
lack of social life and fests are way below average
Faculties are quite strict in First year overall and for ENTC branch . They are more strict for attendance criteria.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester of college companies visit to college for internships and from 7th sem you are eligible for placement.Around 100+ companies visit each year for placment in PICT.Highest Package in pict is Around 48 LPA oncampus which was given by Adobe.Other high paying companies like PhonePe,Arista Networks,Palo Alto,Microsoft etc also visit the campus.Average package for Computer Engineering is around 10.5 LPA.Around 90% students get placed in PICT.
