New Furniture is used in Boys Hostel Rooms on the 5th floor.
There are good placement and internship opportunities provided by the college.
The lecturers and professors are highly knowledgeable in their respective fields.

Dislikes

MESS FOOD QUALITY IS THE WORST. MANY STUDENTS EAT OUTSIDE DESPITE PAYING MESS FEES.
EXTREMELY SMALL CAMPUS OF AROUND 5 ACRES FOR A COLLEGE CONTAINING MORE THAN 4000 STUDENTS.
POOR SPORTS FACILITIES PROVIDED BY COLLEGE WITH NO PROPER GROUND FOR CRICKET/FOOTBALL.

The only reason why I chose this college over the others was beacuse my parents forced me to do so. I had also got the option of taking ENTC Branch in VJTI Mumbai and COEP Pune but my parents insisted I chose this college because I got Computer ENGINEERING branch in this College. The other colleges I applied to include IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi but I couldnt make it there as I didnt qualify for the JEE Advanced Exam.

An Honest review of PICT

Likes

The coding culture here at PICT is top notch to say the least. You see people with vast technical skillset and experience, people who have been coding since their school days.
Clubs. The clubs in PICT are the true essence of the college. They foster technical skills in the students of PICT, making them industry-ready
Placements and internships. Good coding culture automatically brings in a lot of corporations to hire talent pool. Not just on campus, but due to PICT's name being so renowned, off-campus placements and internships are also easier to find.

Dislikes

Campus life. Campus life is one aspect which can be elevated. All that people do in the campus is coding. Being a second-year student myself, I haven't even once felt like I am into college, because everyone here is working hard.
Strictness. PICT as a college is very, very strict. Professors expect 90+% attendance, punctuality and sincerity from the students. Also, they punish you for being late, submitting assignments late and low attendance by reducing internal marks.
Competition. Competition at PICT is very, very extreme and takes a toll on you. As everyone is a good coder here, everyone here strives hard and nobody enjoys their college life as such.

Admission:

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT.

The placement of the college are its main highlights
The girls to boys ratio is pretty decent
College is full of studious students which will help work hard

Dislikes

The size of the college is very small only 5 acres
There is no proper football ground or big sports ground
The infrastructure is not well and lack of sports and gym facilities

This college has very good placements that's why I choose it over a local university i got addmission into. The addmission procedure is very smooth as you just need to score good in mht-cet and apply for counselling to get addmission here. The minimum cutoff here is around 98-99%ile for general and goes lower for reserved classes .

Faculty teacher will always help me to most things. I.e. any queries regarding to subject he/ she will solve my problem. And also appreciate me.
My college campus life will be the best quality of interaction. The student and teacher also interacted in the college campus.
The quality of infrastructure in the college campus is vast like a campus amenities includes garden, modern trade and various types of shops near the college.

Admission:

The other college apply wii be BDCOE wardha. my admission get confirmed. But in the other reason I will cancel my admission and got the pune university collage. The admission process will be mentioned in the percentage.

Beyond the classroom my positive experience for this college

I appreciate the college teachers staff they are too supportive for us.
The college campus and their engagement are really fine .
The way their teacher are teaching to the students that like a family

Some time their are much rush in the college
Not good hostel foods on every time for students
They are too sophisticated that is not too good for students

Likes

Events are good here. Students they enjoy alot
Staff is actually good and they help us.
Placement opportunities are good in this clg

Dislikes

People are self obsessed and don't help each other
Campus is really small. only 2 building and over
They don't even have a big auditorium and ground

Ok so other colleges are good with big campus lots of events but when it's time for placement they have less opportunities than my college as the number of students are more there.but pict is only related to comp depart so it is quite helpful

Admission:

It's already considered the 2nd greatest college in Pune, as well as Maharashtra in IT sector. It offers great internships and placements as well, and students become successful outside the IT field also, due to extra curricular activities

My college placement is so good it's average to median than other colleges
I liked my college facilities and teachers and aslo teaching style.
