Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidate should have passed with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured not less than 50 percent marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together (45 percent marks for Backward class candidates from Maharashtra State only), H.S.C.(Std.-XII) examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education OR of Indian School Certificate (Std.-XII) Examination OR any other equivalent Higher Secondary (Std.-XII) Examination of a Council or Board outside Maharashtra State.

Pros and Cons of PIET

Fee Structure And Facilities:

There is a 10% fee hike every year in the Engineering discipline as a whole. So the total cost would be around 4 Lakhs give or take. There are a variety of Scholarship Schemes available for students which are widely categorized as merit-based admission type, caste, and quota, all approved by the Government of India. The non-teaching staff is also very helpful if students face any difficulty filling out the forms. For the Chemical Engineering discipline, there were no on-campus jobs as such. Every branch was made to apply for IT and CSE jobs.

Role of my college in my Life

Fees and Financial Aid:

Yes i have opted for education loan. They do not give proper fee structure at the time of loan application. Seeing this, I have contacted Mr. Shahid Sharif Sir, the Chairman of RTE Action Committe to take action against the college. And only one call from RTE made the entire college unstable. The scholarship is only available for SC category students. They have to pay Rs. 0 INR for the entire course. There is no sports scholarship for the students.

Scholarships are provided by government for various castes, scholarships varies from caste to caste. There is no loan facility provided by college, the management quota students need to be paid full fees.
