Good quality of teachers:- mostly professors are excellent in their respective fields and have great subject knowledge.
It was amazing and great to be witnessed and roam around and live the college life as beautifully as shown in movies and all.
I know this is a very big amount but it is good for your future this college makes efforts to make you good for top mncs the scholarship is good they provide scholarships and even i got my scholarship

Some of the rules are so bad in this college like for hostel related
The fee structure of my college is very high which may be unappropriate for people this college is prohibited for poor the scholarship is hard to get.
You can not stay in hostel during college hours this most bad thing here

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is better then most colleges and also the faculty here are pretty good if we exclude some of them. It does hold college fest once per year and some extra curricular activities from time to time.
It also has good canteen and food is all ok ok and it also has some food booth where children can order food.
It has nice air conditioner and nice looking campus.

Dislikes

This college has a criteria of min attendance of 90 percent and below that it charges 400 rs fir every single percent it went down so for example your attendance is 85% then you will have to pay a fine of 2000 rs.
You don't have any freedom in between classes and you are not allowed to even your phone and if you are caught using your phone then you will be fined 20000 rs.
You are not allowed to roam in college during your classes are in progressing and there are 8 lectures every single day From Monday to Friday and even sometimes Saturday. Each lecture is of 50 mins so it gets tiring

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 7th semester and also you can apply off campus for placement and get internship offers from 1st semester onwards. Many companies visit this college, some mass recruiters and some which give very high packages to some of the students who did really well in their interviews. This time highest package was 41 lakhs per annum and average package was around 3.5 lakh. Almost every student eligible for placement gets placed.

Likes

The infrastructure of PSIT is well organised and developed.
The faculty are well experienced and coordinate with students to get fruitful results.
The relation between a teacher and the student is extremely good.

Dislikes

I don't like the attendance policy to maintain above 90 percent.
I don't like the fine policy of the college .They used to fine on student for any minor or major misleads
The college is over disciplined . They have any games period.

Course Curriculum Overview:

No curriculum activity is present in the college .they don't allow to play in the ground . No preference is given to the sports and nothing . No sports is played in our college. Only there are some clubs who support the games.

Best college in north only for placement

Infrastructure was outstanding and cleanliness

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester you are eligible for college placement. Highest package was 51 lack offered by Microsoft and lowest package was 3.8 lack offered by tcs and the average package was 4 lack and almost 95 percent got placed every year. And my plans was to get a good placement

Likes

Infrastructure and facilities provided by college and they rules regarding food like they Stop us from wasting food by imposing fine on us
Environment in. Which you can grow is provided by college like there are so many extra classes for personality development is going parallel to academic classes
So many clubs are there so that you can enhance yourself in different fields

Dislikes

Outing timing for girls and also the strict rules and regulations like u cannot visit the canteen after 7
Imposing fine in every second thing we do like there is a fine if u are fine in someone's other room

Placement Experience:

Avg package of the college is 4.5lpa which good enough and more then 100% placement is assured by college company's like TCS , Infosys, Wipro, microsoft, Mahindra tech are visiting to college every year

PSIT: A Heaven in KANPUR

Likes

College infrastructure is very beautiful. College is 80+ acre campus
The discipline of the college is very good.
Teachers are very supportive and helpful. They always motivate us.

Dislikes

College attendance 90% criteria but it helps to survive in corporates after graduation.
9 to 5 daily college routing sucks but help to survive in corporates after 4 years
Tight schedule of college time table but helps to engage in studies.

Placement Experience:

College placements are very good. On average people get 4-5 LPA easily. College helps to grab good placements. Faculty helps you. Those who don't get placement jumps into Business. College's main objective is placemnets.

I literally like the college atmosphere as it is very Awesome. The college is very disciplined.
There are 30+ clubs operating which gives exposer to the students from 1st year only.
PSIT has a very Beautiful-Green Campus. The mess food quality is undoubtedly very good.

Dislikes

Timing for B.Tech is 9 to 5 daily so the whole day is passed. But it has also good side as 9 to 5 daily helps you to survive in corporates when you get placed.
Attendance criteria is 90% which literally sucks but just because of this you visit college almost everyday and build network.
Apart from above two, i don't find any cons.

Talking about Placements, PSIT is the leading college in North for the placements and the main objective of PSIT is Placements. Almost every student gets placed and the poeple whi do not get placements and want to clear GATE or CAT, they get special attention from college too. Likes

The infrastructure of the campus is very good.
It has good placement records in past years.
It trains the students for communication and interviews from the first year itself.

Dislikes

The attendance policy is 90 percent. Those who don't abide by it result in fines.
The college charges a fine of rs.400 per percent. If the attendance goes below 90 percent.
The college insures full discipline and those who don't abide by it faces fines starting from 2000.

Placement Experience:

The college placements here are quite good people who are coming here can expect an average salary of 6.5-8.0 lakhs per annum. The highest placement here is 50 lakhs per annum. From fivth semester itself people get eligible for caampus and off campus placement. Various companies visit here like Atlassian, Cognizant, Comvault, TCS, Vipro, Infosys, etc. The placement percent as per 2024 is 123 percent.

A good college with many opportunities.

The placement season generally begins in the 6th-7th semester but the preparation starts way before. The college gives training classes to help students prepare. This training helps in both placements and other competitions. Students get placed in companies like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and many more. Recently 65% of students got placed from the previous batch. The average salary offered to them was 5-6 LPA and the highest package offered was 19 LPA.

Placement Experience:

From 6-7th semester students are eligible for campus Placements. Recently 65% of students got placed from previous batch. The average salary offered to them is 5-6 LPa and the highest package gained is 19 LPa. Companies arrived are Infosys , TCS , Cognizant , Capgemini etc. The average percentage for getting placements is 70-80%. My plan is to join a better company and get placed .
