PSIT Kanpur offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as BTech, MCA, MBA, and MTech. PSIT Kanpur admissions are done based on the entrance exam and cutoff criteria set by the institute. PSIT Kanpur MCA and MBA Admission 2025
PSIT offers MBA and MCA programs at the PG level. For PG admissions, the candidates must have completed a Graduation in the corresponding field with a minimum of 60% marks. MBA Admissions are based on the CUET PG rank of the candidate, followed by UPTAC Counseling, and GD and PI.

- For MBA admissions, PSIT also conducts group discussion and personal interview for the shortlisted candidates as the second and third rounds, respectively. The applicant must clear all three to get admitted to the MBA program.
- Personal Interview round will also be conducted for the MCA applicants, provided they fall in the eligibility criteria, that is, 60% and above in 10th, 12th, and BCA/B.Sci.
- For lateral entry admissions to the MCA program, candidates should at least hold a Diploma in BCA/B.Sc (CS/IT) with a minimum of 60%.
PSIT Kanpur MTech Admission 2025
PSIT offers an MTech CSE program, admission to which is based on the rank obtained by the candidate in CUET PG/ GATE Score, followed by UPTAC Counselling.
For the MTech degree from PSIT, Kanpur, the candidate must hold a B.Tech/B.E degree from any government or private institute affiliated to AICTE. The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 60% in B.Tech/B.E.

PSIT Kanpur Application Process 2025
Admission 2025 to the PSIT Kanpur programs is completely done through the national-level and state-level entrance examinations. For the PSIT Kanpur BTech admission process, students are required to qualify for the JEE Mains exam. Upon clearing this exam, the students will have to register for the UPTAC counselling through which the seat allocation process will be done. The registration charges for the JEE Mains exam are INR 1,000 (Male) and INR 800 (Female). However, candidates can also take direct admission to PSIT Kanpur for its BTech program through the Management quota, for which candidates will have to appear for an interview.
For PG admissions like MTech, MSc, and MBA, CUET PG scores are accepted by the institute. To register for the CUET PG, candidates will have to submit the online application form through the official website, which has now been updated to https://pgcuet.samarth.ac.in/. For the general category students, the registration charges for the CUET PG 2024 were INR 1,200, which has increased by INR 200 as compared to last year. On the other hand, the registration charges for the Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL candidates are INR 1,000. Students will have to pay an additional INR 600 for an extra paper.
