Placement of above 75% is claimed on campus. In which many MNC also participated. The companies visited adgitm includes Infosys, Dell, NIIT, mahindra, torrid event and many more. The highest package from information technology is of 33 lpa by Microsoft and followed by shopee.
From the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement I guess. Many companies visit our college some of the famous names are Google, Tcs, Amazon, etc. In fact, Amazon has given the highest package this year of 32 lakhs per annum.
And talking about campus jobs there are many companies that visit the college each year and almost all the students get placements in some company. placements rate is good and descent to good companies visit for the placements in the college. placements occur in the final year.
I would say the placement is quite decent there are many companies that visit the campus and make offer to the students, students become eligible for placement from 4th year of the college almost all the students get placed in college students get good offers from both off-campus as well as on campus some companies that visited this year were Infosys, amazon just to name a few.
Placements are decent if you have got the skills, very few students get 10+ lpa out of few hundred. So it's competitive. But you can give a shot at on-campus placements. Overall students getting placement is high but not everyone gets a good package. Most people opt to work after their UG, very few go for masters
60-70% of students got a placement through campus. If takeseriously academics and work on your skills, you can get an average package of 5-8 lakh per annum. May be better.
I decided to go to an off-campus place
As mentioned earlier the campus placements are dry and most of the students end up graduating without a job. Most of the companies that come in to hire want students from the CS or IT branch and therefore are students from mechanical or civil are left to find jobs on our own off-campus. The average package of those placed are around 3-3.5lpa and less than 30% of the students get a job from campus. I have applied at various companies of the IT sector even though I'm a student of Mechanical and Automation Engineering and currently waiting for results.
I opt the course as I wanted to be both software + mechanical designer( can do coding + designing ). So I opt for mechanical automation engineering, the faculty of your college is best. Exam twice in 6 months ( per semester).
Placements anr not too good. But for year 2021 placement record has been muxh better and previous years.
After 7th semester students are eligible to sit at campus placements. A very few internships are provided to 3rd year students.
Placement is improving every year this in 2021 the highest package was 32 lakh from amazon comapny many student got 20 lakh plus and many got 15 + and some get 10+ lpa every year it's improving.
I'm in 2nd year and i know that when I'm in final the college will improve too much for placement
