Remarks

Eligibility: Students must secure 50% or more in 12th board examinations ( any board ). Admission can be taken in the BTech course by appearing for JEE Main. Students must have ranked below the cutoff rank to avail admission in the course for their choice. Earlier there was CET but now there is no other entrance exam for admission. 85% seats are reserved for Delhi students.

Course Curriculum Overview

ECE is an all rounder course. It provides opportunities to expand our domain in various fields. Faculty is quite good. Helpful and have a good knowledge of what they teach. In each semester there are two sessional examinations and 2 clas tests and finally there is end term examination. Exams are not very difficult and are mainly from previous year question papers.

Internships Opportunities

There are not much interships provided by college itself but there are many students who get selected for off campus interships and do well on there own. Only if you are very good in your domain there is a chance that you will receive internship from college.

Placement Experience

Placements anr not too good. But for year 2021 placement record has been muxh better and previous years. After 7th semester students are eligible to sit at campus placements. A very few internships are provided to 3rd year students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for 1st year includes University charge also so it is much higher than the rest of the term. 1st year I paid Rs . 1,18,000 and from 2nd year onwards fees is around 1lac. Many government scholarships from Delhi govt. as well as national govt. are provided.

Campus Life

School campus is not a big one but it is a decent campus. Labs are good and well facilitated. Playground is not too big and I am not aware about the sports available. Other than that there are many clubs and societies for robotics, coding, or any other co-curricular activities.

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Walking you through ADGIPS

I applied to IPU counselling through JEE mains. I didn't have many options but I was getting HMR university, Echleon institute of technology, Guru teg Bahadur 4th centenary college, etc. I chose this college because among other IP colleges it has a better placement ratio and good environment and crowd. I wanted colleges like Maharaja agrasen institute of technology, maharaja surajmal institute of technology, bhartiya vidhyapeeth which comes on top of IPU rank list but due to my JEE rank was not able to get it but I'm still content with what I have. To get into my college u need to have a JEE rank around 4L for Tech branches and 6-7 L for other branches like Ece, Me etc. Admission experience was fine IPU delays the process alot but it was still manageable so overall fine...Read More

An okay choice if you want a GGSIPU govt. degree

I honestly didn't want to go to a private college , that was never my first choice even my last choice also but with my jee mains rank that was around one lakh ninety thousand I couldn't get any of the nits or some government college.The reason I chose this college because this college is affiliated to GGSIPU (guru gobind singh indraprastha university), so the degree is a government recognized one which can be valuable in the future.This was one of the main factor for me in the finalizing this college.
