MEC Kochi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

This is one of the best engineering college in Kerala for computer science. The only negative feedback about the college is the campus. The campus is small and is just a small 5 storied building. So if you are planning to go for a campus with ample amount of space this is not the place. But if you want to get into a good company and want to build strong relationship among students and alumni you are at the right place.

The college is very small. But it is also a good thing. Because we don't have to walk alot frkm one class to another. It very convenient to goto other labs and workshops. Hostel is very nearby. Every department is in single building.

Our college is small compared to other colleges but we have only four departments so the facility is great for the college and it has a great name all around kerala. We are the top three college in ktu in our department. I would suggest students to come any study here.

There are a lot of good things for Model Engineering College. Placements, ranks, academics are all very good here. Only step back of this college is its infrastructure. Model Engineering College has a smaller campus. This is the only bad remark you can say about this college.

This college gave me one of the best experiences in my life. It gave me memories which will be something I will take to my grave.

Heaven of placement that's what is special about the college. Also there is good aupport from the collage for every initiatives put forward by students. Overall an Ideal college.

I took the kerala entrance exam for engineering. And once the scores were out i knew i could get into some good college and MEC is the name that popped first into my head. Biomedical Engineering is one of the most sought out jobs in US and also taking my liking for biology and technology both into consideration I knew this was the right course. And of most the right college to opt for.

I took KEAM entrance examination to join this college. The only reason i joined in this college, because its the best college in Kerala for computer science students. The college also has an excellent placement record.

I took the Kerela Engineering Entrance and got a decent rank of 2000 which got me a merit seat in the Electronics and Communication course here .

Every student is doubtful when they first come to the college. Its a one building structure and very disappointing, just not what we see in movies. The first year goes by almost uneventfully to reduce chances of ragging and not provoke the excited senior folks. The next 3 years are a whole different story. There is just not enough time to do everything. From helping out seniors in organizing programmes to mentoring juniors, to exams the 4th year mostly dedicated to placements, every other week will have a company visiting the campus , some weeks have upto 4 companies coming over. Its a surreal ride, and definitely worth the experience.
