MSIT Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The quality of placements is quite average. Average placements placing can be 8-10lakhs. The dean is supportive of the students. There is more importance given to attendence and theory study than practical and training.

Basically, I am interested in entrepreneurship and computer science so that's why I think this course is the best for me. And here in my college MSIT, our faculty members are helpful and everything is fine.

After 6th semester the students are eligible for placement, and companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Microsoft sales, Amazon sales and many more companies are visited for recurring new freshers. The highest package offered by Amazon 32LPA. And TCS offers an average package of 3.5 LPA. almost 100 per cent of students get placed in it department.

Almost 90% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 10.5 LPA and the average salary package offered was 6.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Intel, Google, Infosys, etc., visited our campus.

From sem 6th ending all students start to fill out the form company for their campus placement. companies visit in this college is - LTI, TCS, COGNIGENT, CAPGEMINI and many more mnc company also coming in this collage

I choose B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering because nowadays you have a very good scope in these fields. Even there is a subgroup of computer science such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber security, IOT, and many more so one can follow their interest in any of the subjects in their specialization.IT industry is growing very fast these days so I think I can do my level best in this field. The faculty members in this is very student friendly you can communicate with them any time you need they are ready to help in the best way possible. Classes are taken regularly all the labs are well-maintained. Teachers teach different kinds of presentations with projectors. Class tests are taken every month and assignments are given every week. The question paper they set is moderate level and one can easily pass if he/she studies.

First, I choose this course because I am interested in this course. The faculty members of this college are very professional and friendly . the faculty members are actively involved in research and development activities and many of them have published books and research papers in reputed journals.

A total of 175 companies visited the campus and 396 offers were made as on Apr 30, 2022 during Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology placements 2022. The highest and average packages offered during Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology Placements 2022 were INR 32 LPA and INR 4.65 LPA, respectively. Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology Placements 2022--- There was a rise of 16.86% in the no. of offers made in 2022 as compared with 2021 There was a rise of 4.79% in the no. of companies that visited the campus in 2022 as compared with 2021 An increase of 190% was witnessed in the highest package offered in 2022 as compared with 2021 A total of 330 students were placed out of 412 students during Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology placements 2022. In addition, the top recruiter that offered the highest package during MSIT placements 2022 was Amazon SDE.The institute provides summer internships and pre-placement offers for all eligible students.

Form 6th semester students are eligible for placement. Many companies like Amazon, Samsung Cognizant, Wipro, Tech-Mahindra, Tcs etc(more than 100 companies) visited last year. The Highest package was 36Lpa(off campus) and 12Lpa(on campus). Last year about 97% of students got placed, and 100% were placed in CSE, IT & ECE departments. core Branches like ME & CE also got placed but their package is lower. EE Got good placement also.

In my college, there are 3 unit test for every b tech course you take and one semester every two years and the syllabus are provided by makaut faculties are good and the student ratio is 1:10 for boys and girls
