from the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . the palcement is good . the company like oracle visited and many more almost 8-10 visited every year with max offer of 18 lakh per year the highest packages is 18lakh and average package is 2.25 lakh per year. almost 60% students got the palcement every year. my plan to get a job in reputated company as an engineer .

I choose to do engineering because I am interested to study in this field. The teacher has good experience and the ratio of faculty: to the student is 4:10. All the teachers are postgraduate and have done Ph.D. also. Every semester is taken 3 months and it's not too hard for passing the exam.

Semester 3rd end and 4 starting the students become eligible for campus placement. The tech Mahindra and Wipro and Amazon etc. And it gives the best offers also to students who were eligible for placement and the crack placement process packages are 6 lakh, 10 lakh, and 16 lakh Per annum. I can't remember the highest package but I remember the 6 to 12 lakh average package that the company offered. The percentage of students who get placement is nearly about 75 to 90+. My plan after getting a degree is to first do training and an internship to get make a base and perfect knowledge to start a big step then I do a job to get experienced and have s good life.

I choose this course because I want to become a software developer. The faculty of the college is average they are good but not very good student ratio is good only in BTech courses otherwise less. Between every 1 month gap, there is sessional in college

I don't know much about placement but the placement here is very poor. Very few students got placed this year. In our college students have to take placement off campus because there is very less chance of getting placed from campus placement. And if you got placed so the package will be very less.

The college does not promise the placement but the alumni of MGM COET are now in various good organizations, which include HCL, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Bristlecone, Byjus, MobCoder, etc. Students from the 7th semester can apply for on-campus and off-campus placement available. For the campus placement minimum of 75% is mandatory. The average package is 3lpa.

Overall college is very good for acedemics, cultural events, sport events and develop personality and make us very proud.

There were only Cs and IT company's who came to our college for the placement programs. And they only select the CS students for the process. And for the rest of the fields such as mechanical, there were only call centers. So the placement opportunities were bad.

Nothing to say NSS and AshaNivas Social Service Centre(Concern) organised “Human Chain- on Anti Drugs Day”, on 24th to 27th July 2016. Mr. Shankaralingam, Asst. Commissioner of Police, South Zone and Mr. Nehru, Headmaster, Nehru High School, Velachery and Dr. M. Selvaraj, Principal, GNC were the guest of honours. NSS and Blood Bank of Rajiv Gandhi General Hospital, Chennai, organized a Blood Donation Camp in Guru TegBahadur Auditorium at Guru Nanak College on 8th July, 2016. Dr. Umesh, Blood Bank In-charge, appreciated the overwhelming response from the students and collected around 500 units of Blood. NSS special Camp at Somangalam Village, Kundrathur was organised on 24th to 30th September 2016. Around 150 NSS volunteers participated and Cleaned the Govt. School, Temples, Old age homes, Public toilets, constructed fencing for gardens, Planted trees in School, hostel, Govt. Hospital and public areas. They also conducted one day seminar, rallies, awareness programme on Dengue and Diarrhea.
