MITS Gwalior Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester Top companies are all mass recruiters - Accenture, Cognizant, LTI mindtree, Infosys, Wipro, capgemini Other companies are - hashedin, Newgen, Tejas etc Percentage varies branchwise but Computer science still has the highest percentage, I got placed too

After 6th semester, students are eligible for placement. Top companies such as wipro, tcs, accenture, amazon, britannia, byjus, samsung, infosys, microsoft, etc. visit in on campus placement. Highest off campus package was of around 1.05 CR and average was 5.8 lakh. Where highest on campus placement was 18 lacs. Placement rate was around 77-80%.

From semester 6, students become eligible for placements. Many companies take interview in our college. The highest On campus placement was 25 lpa, as off campus was 1 crore+ in 2023. The average on campus package is around 5 to 8 lpa which is not much good but not too bad. It will depend on your ability, not on college.

Placement is good enough if you have skills, you can bag package upto 10 lacs onwards campus, faculty also helps you to get placement off campus. And since it's a developing college you can expect more in future

So placement are not so good and not very poor or veryyy badd it's is okayish and like average and yeah off campus packages aree soo good and the average packages is like 3 to 4 lakhs per anum. And lowest is 2.5 lakhs I guess.

From the semester 7th we are eligible for placements The companies like wipro accenture tcs volvo/eicher mahindra ihp visits in my college Highest package offered is 12 lpa Around 20% students gets placed My plans is to do MTech from a known gov college

As I mentioned earlier, the course curriculum is somewhat outdated, so it needs to be changed, and the administration somewhat does it periodically. But still, I feel the curriculum is not up to date with the modern world and what the job market needs, so it needs to be changed. Also, the faculty should focus more on practical Topics and should teach in a more engaging way, which is seen very little in our college. Together with this, Though the exam pattern is alright, I feel that the weightage of the end semester should be higher, somewhere around 70%.

Since this is my first year I don't have any solid information regarding the placements, but according to what I've heard, the placements are kind of average or above average, AVG package lies around 5-6 LPA, no information about the highest packages

The placement records of these is better than other because the students are jee qualified. Approximate of placements around ex 600 out 1400 according to the university i have no idea about this. But student managing own off campus .
