MITS Gwalior: A brief true review.

The curriculum is well made, it is on basis of future opportunities and growing mindset. The future of semiconductor industry is good, so the curriculum is in that direction too which would help in future aspects. The therotical plus practical knowledge give a real life application knowledge which would help in job aspects. The curriculum could improve that there should be more specific and sub divisions on some topics, but it's good and we can do with it. Difficulty level of examination is as it should be. No complaints for that.

I don't have much info about this but, internships are offered in the college. And an inside tip: Have a good bond with seniors and faculty, they will help you for internship. The teachers will give you opportunities for internship in there contact. And pass out seniors will help you to be recruit in there companies.

After 6th semester, students are eligible for placement. Top companies such as wipro, tcs, accenture, amazon, britannia, byjus, samsung, infosys, microsoft, etc. visit in on campus placement. Highest off campus package was of around 1.05 CR and average was 5.8 lakh. Where highest on campus placement was 18 lacs. Placement rate was around 77-80%.

Tution fee: 65000, caution fees: 10000, registration fees: 2500, development fees: 25000, lab fees: 2500. This is general fee structure of each branch of first year. In next 3 years fees would be around 1.25 lacs each year.

The college life is very very good here, many fests such as tulsi mohotsav, funtush, etc are organised and special events on festivals and other occasions. Full college life enjoyment is seen. Library is free to access. And a wide range of books is available there with e library facility. Sports facilities are Available but there is no coach for any sports. But seniors are supportive hence they help us to improve. Many students runned social groups are also there. Which can be joined on different eligibilities.

As you all know, MITS Gwalior is second ranked state government college of MP after SGSITS, Indore. The college is exactly like SGSITS, but the difference is of location. That is in indore giving it a better placement opportunities while this mits is in Gwalior, lowering its placement opportunities as compared to SGSITS. But still it is better than IET DAVV and JEC jabalpur. I have placed it above IET DAVV and JEC because of improper management and lower standard infrastructure of JEC and IET DAVV. Wherease placements in MITS is far better than both of them.

The faculty is supportive and knowledgeable. They are easy to approach and helpful. We can also get a remedial class on our demand. I don't have any favourite teacher or any hated teacher, all teachers are good to behave. There are 2 Mid sems(Minor 1 and Minor 2) and a end sem(Major) examination. Course curriculum is well balanced and good.

Admission is done through MPDte counselling. And it is based on JEE Mains score. You have to register for MPDte counselling which have 2 rounds and one upgradation round, and registration is generally on basis on jee mains score.

Around 3 4 gyms are around my college and many of the students are enrolled in that. Many cafe and restaurant are there for hang out. There are in campus and out campus gardens and parks for hangout. College's statue ground, football ground track, stage ground, gymnasium are popular hand out places. Night out places are near city centre which is around 1 km.
