The campus placement is good enough to provide you a better start in life.
Teacher students bomd is really good. They are supportive.
Seniors are also supportive. They help us in our studies.

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is 1:5. There is less no. Of girls
The campus is not up to the mark. It is just good

What does student says about course

The curriculum is too old. As the college is affiliated with AKTU so they have to follow their curriculum. As the market is changing so i think curriculum should be changed. Otherwise it is good. Subject combinations are good.

Top companies providing internship

Only good students get internship here. But yes if you will work hard then you can easily get a internship here. The companies which visits here are TCS, wipro, amazon, TISCO and mahindra and mahindra.

Placement provided by the college

Campus placement are varying according to branches but for computer science and engineering branch it is outstamding. The average package offered is about 14-15 LPA. Hightest package offered is 80 LPA

Yearly fees structure and scholarship

The course fee for first year is 73850. For next three years it will be 67850. There is up govt scholaeship available here. They are providing about 50k scholarship. The fee is constant. It is not increasing

What does student says about campus

The college infrastructure is not up to the mark as i expected but it also not too much bad. We can survive in this condition. The college has various clubs which include photography club, cultural council, sports council, literary council

Hostel facilities provide by the college

The meal quality is good. Its not outstanding but yes it is not too much bad. The registration process was easy. You can easily shift here. Pg are also available just outside the college gate. Transport service is also good.

Faculties are good. They are supporting us in our studies. The exam level are good. Marking scheme is good. Teaching quality is also good and they are experienced too. Most of them are from top colleges of india.

Admission process and eligibilty

I just choose this college because i want to pursue btech otherwise this college can't be compared with that other colleges that i applied for. In BHU i was getting BSc computer science hons. But i want btech so i just come here

Night life inside the campus

The college doesn't provide us any gym. We have to go outside for gym. The hostel timing for girls is 5pm whereas for boys it is varying between 9-10 pm across season. The college library is very good.they have a large no. Of books

The campus is big and is lush green with a lot of greenery as nearly 1000+ trees are there at our campus.

Dislikes

Firstly Sultanpur is a tier-3 city and in that too our college is in one of the make backward arean of the college.

Admission:

I wanted to study at IIT Kanpur as I am from Uttar Pradesh and it is arguably the best college in Uttar Pradesh. Couldn't get the admission there and when i searched for private options, I got the option of KNIT Sultanpur as I filtered my choice which is based on fees.

KNIT sultanpur review

Admission:

i chose this college as i couldnt go to UPES dehredun,CSE. money was one of the reason, UPES was too expensive, ranging about almost 30L for 4 years, which is comparitively very compared to my current college, which is about 5 lakh for 4 years, and if youre lucky you can get scholarships, which reduce the amount to almost half. Other location also include the illegal cultures going on the in the colleges which are on mountains, like drugs etc.

I wrote Jee exam and applied in different counsellings but Somewhere I got good branch but not good colleges and somewhere good college but not good branch Many counselling where there josaa,csab but at the end I filled aktu counselling and it was aktu's top government college after iet so I opted for it

Likes

Large campus size you can walk at evening in campus.
Quality time college will provide you best quality time.

Dislikes

It is far away for main city. And less exposure.

Admission:

First thing which was my priority was to choose government colleges where placement is decent and companies visit the campus and knit meets all of them so I go for this college.here addmission are only the aktu councelling

The greenary and the view is quite mesmerizing. The councils actively enroll the students to showcase their talent.
I liked the level of competition it has between the students

Dislikes

The surrounding area is quite untouched for living which makes quite hard to roam around during the nights.
The labs and the workshop area also needs proper equipments.
The infrastructure is old and quite boring. It needs to be renewated as soon as possible.

Admission:

The admission is through Jee Mains and this year the opening and closing rank for IT was from 640000 to 72000 for boys and 82000 to 98000 for girls and for CSE it was around 57000 to 62000 for the boys The admission was through AKTU and I also had a chance to get admission in JPP Noida but it was government and autonomous which makes it more available. Being autonomous, preparation for higher studies is really easy as you need not to attend all the classes

Can I get IET Lucknow or KNIT Sultanpur in the spot round of counselling in the UPSEE if my general rank is 12000 and an OBC rank of 3000?

I have friends from both IET Lucknow and KNIT Sultanpur and according to them, you will not get any of IET Lucknow or KNIT Sultanpur with this rank. Your OBC rank will not be of any help as selections in the spot round are done based on the general rank and there is no reservation. Also, at IET/KNIT, seats for core branches like CS/EC/ME, fill up first.

If you are a fresher then I will suggest you take a year drop and appear for various entrance exams next year and, if you are not a fresher then, you can go to other colleges. You will not get the atmosphere like IET Lucknow anywhere else, and hence, taking a year drop will be the best in any case. The environment is very competitive at IET Lucknow. Even KNIT Sultanpur lags in this case. The location of IET Lucknow is perfect for coaching for exams like CAT, GATE, IES, IAS, etc.

KNIT Sultanpur offers full-time B.Tech, M.C.A, M.Tech and Ph.D. courses. There are 60 plus 3 additional seats in each branch of B.Tech. 18 seats per branch are available for M.Tech candidates. For MCA, there are 60 seats in total.

The minimum eligibility for B.Tech is 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate marks and valid JEE Main score.
The minimum eligibility for M.C.A is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
For M.Tech, the candidates should be a graduate with at least 60% aggregate marks and should hold a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score.
For Ph.D., the candidates should have a Master’s degree with at least 60% aggregate marks.
Candidates have to appear for CUET PG examination for admission in M.C.A, while for M.Tech, the candidates have to appear for GATE.
The candidates have to attend the counseling process for the requisite entrance examination and thereby will be called for the document verification in the institute.

The total fee for the Btech course is INR 3.37 Lakhs. Candidate should have passed (10+2) or Equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry / Biotechnology, Language, and any other subject. Admission will be based on the UPTAC.
