KNIT Sultanpur is an average college!!

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel is fantastic as we have 8 boys hostels within the campus. There's one girls hostel but since girls ratio is so less, the hostel is also one. We are glad that they are inside as finding a suitable transport too is tough in Sultanpur.

In first year you should either provide 3 seeter or 2 seeter room and 4 seeter room for 2'nd year students hostel resitrations occurs after some days of addmission in college There is pg outside available in near college

Sometimes we should have take this type of survey so that we can also know that how many we have known to our college.

Hostel is too old but very food compare to other new hostel in compare to other new and old hostels. If we talk about room, it is not so big but enough to leave for two people but we live min 3 people in a room even if yhird person is not allowed. Meal quality is best than other hostels not it is comparable to nits iits , very good quality meals are provided to us here. If we take a room here it takes much high rent with respect to me and my middle class family like 2500/month only room rent and other charges extra

Knit sultanpur the best college under aktu in government

Around 10000 is the hostel fees it's can not be more affordable than this . It includes food light bills and all. You will love the food here you will not feel outside the home of you eat the food here. You have to apply for hostel after physical reporting.

If talking seriously, the college isn't much strict about the attendance here. The hostels provided to first years are very good with basic facilities.
The electrical supply to the hostels is almost 24 hours.
The hostel campus is equipped with 24 hours decent wifi connections.

Dislikes

The bathrooms of the hostels are too poor and dirty.

The hostels provided to the first years are good as compared to those of the seniors.And the fees is too low - 10,000 per year. They are given multiple two seater and three seater rooms. Also a common hall is provided at every floors for students meeting or discussions. Balconies (multiple) provided also gives a unique design to the hostel. One thing i have to say that the mess is really good as compared to other colleges. The quality of the meal given is good with proper menu which can be rearranged by conducting meeting with the mess incharge.

My experience with Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology

Hostel experience was also quite nice ,I resides in MNS hostel which is the smallest among all the hostels , that's why it was easy to maintained , Although boys have eight hostels and girls have only one hostels ,from which you can guess the ratio.

Mess food was so unhygienic and tasteless, although they usually overspiced but never made it edible but for the freshers the good news is ,new contractor won the tender of mess and his food was very homely and tasty,but my experience was not so good

From the first till third year you get three seater rooms ,in which you get one table ,one chair ,one bed each.Some rooms also got almirah with lock but only in new hostels.You get chiller for chilled drinking water and high speed wifi and every hostel got playing room equiped with either table tennis,some with carrom board or chess. In the middle of hostel premises there is badminton court.These are college hostels and college allots it to the students on behalf of their CGPA, the one with high CGPA gets to choose hostel and room number he wants. Although it is very affordable with just only 10,000 per year. Some hostels are far from academic buildings some are close and both have their pros and cons . Mess is not government,it is alloted by private tenders , my experience for the first three years was very bad ,the menu was very nice ,they had huge variety but it was the quality, hygiene and taste where they actually fails. Although in the last year another contractor won the tender and he reduced the menu options but food taste and quality increased considerably,Now it tasted as home food ,it is a great change for freshers but made us suffer for whole three years.

College provides hostel facility . And it is mandatory to take hostel in first year . the hostels are ok but not very good . 24 hour water , electricity and wifi is provided in the hostel . if i talk about mess the mess food good in first year but as move forward quality degrades .
