Jorhat Engineering College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Pros - 1. feasible fee structure 2. College infrastructure is good 3. Labs are average but the equipments are working fine. 4. Academic is good 5. Faculties and seniors are friendly. Cons- 1. The hostel canteen is not up to the mark. 2. Hostel structure (mainly boys hostels) needs to be upgraded. 3. Class tests are a headache.

The academic and the curriculum is overall excellent. The placement is also okay. However, the infrastructure and the campus can be far better. The funds from the state government aren't being utilized properly.

So far it is 50-50. Curriculum is upgraded. All the faculties are not good. Expense is less. Placements are not 100%. Less expousure to extra curricular activities and hobbies, sports etc. Alumni network is poor.

I recomnd my junior for taking admission in jorhat enginnering college, one of the former enginnering college of Assam serving nation since 1960. Teachers are good and helpful. And always take regular class

I gain lots of experience on instrumentation engineering, i have scored more then 74%, its my best college.

I dont have any bad remarks. I am positive feelings towards the college and its teachers and i only hope with time the college further improves and provides very good placements

There is no bad remarks for my college. It is a very good college with effective management who takes right decision at right time for success and development of the college. The management representatives are very co-operative and for them the infrastructure of the college and hostels had improved progressively every year. The library have most of the books required for the college syllabus which is also for the good management.
