JEC Assam admission is based on the merit scores of students from the latest qualifying exam or course-level entrance tests that it accepts. Candidates seeking admission in BE/BTech must have passed the Assam CEE exam.
For Lateral Entry, pass the 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or pass the qualifying examination, Assam CEE, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. - BE: Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board. Admission is based on the Assam CEE.
- BE Lateral: Candidates must have passed a diploma with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board. Admission is based on the Assam CEE.
- MCA: Candidates must have passed Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university.
- ME: Candidates must have passed Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university.
JEC Assam Application Process 2025
JEC Assam Admission is ongoing. The candidates must follow the steps to complete the registration Process for Assam CEE to get admission in BE:
- Must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
- Must have passed Higher Secondary (Class 12) or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the same sitting.
- Must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCM (45% for SC, 40% for ST).
- Must appear for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by DTE Assam.
- Age must be between 17 to 21 years as on 1st August of the admission year.
- The age limit is relaxed to 22 years for B.Sc. passed candidates and by 3 years for SC/ST candidates.
