Likes

Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

HITK, Some insides from an insider .

Likes

Faculties are excellent . They helps us in every possible way .
Campus is huge . It has all the amenities required.
Return on investment is very good. Fees are low

Dislikes

There is no boys hostle officially offered by college.
The place where it is situated is rural kind of area. Availability of transport is not good.
Surprise tests happens regularly. And attendance will be a matter of concern

Placement Experience:

Students as the best of my knowledge, are eligible for placements from 4th year onwards. TCS, Infosys, Accenture etc visit frequently for placements. Highest package in campus has been recorded as 40lakh per annum and avg package offered is 5-6 lakh per annum. There is 100 percentage placement offered by this college. I think I will look for in campus placement after my btech degree

Likes

College campus is very big and classrooms are also very good.
Faculty members are very good and well knowned.
Placement is very good in this college.Infrastructure is also very good.

Dislikes

Location is not good in this college.This is the main problem in this college

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are available for placement.Many big and reputed college come in our college.Many big IT companies visit in our college and other than some core companies also good. Average package is 4 lakh. Overall placement is very good in this college.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are pretty average. For CSE students one can expect a minimum package of 3.5LPA and an average package of 6.5LPA. Almost 90 percent of students get placed each year so it is decent.

The campus is very beautiful to hang out
Here the teachers are also very good and polite
The boy to girl ratio is average, not so much pior

Dislikes

The surprise tests are very annoying here.
You should have minimum 75 pecent attendance to sit in exam
There is no hostel for boys in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As data science is now in trend , I choose this course. A class contains max 65 students, so the faculty and student ratio is good. The teachers are really very helpful and they are qualified also. But as usual you may find some teachers who are not same kind. But they are few. The end sem exam are moderately difficult.

Best collage for engineering in Bengal

Teaching method is too much good in this collage and faculty is also good and senior are also helpful for better road map

Dislikes

There local persons are very toxic and everyone speaks in Bengali language so and it's problem for other state students

Placement Experience:

After 7 th semester students can eligible for campus placement or students must have 7-8 CGPA for sitting a campus placement There are so many companies visited in this collage like TCS , VIPRO ,AMBUJA CEMENT ,TATA TCE and etc The highest package from this colage 40LPA and average package from this colage 5 to 6 lPA Average over all 95% students placed from this college Do intership and best job other wise I will give gate exam

Heritage Institute of Technology - Honest Review

Likes

The crowd is great. People are helpful and friendly
There are no strict attendance policy or anything as such
The sports facilities and coaches are really great

Dislikes

No fest or freshers has been held since 2020

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Not a lot of companies have visited due to recession this year. The highest package was of 10LPA offered by Tejas Networks, it took 5 students. As of now, percentage of placement is less. I want to get placed.

The untold truth of Heritage institute of Technology

Likes

The teachers of heritage are helpful and have just the right amount of knowledge required.
Library of Heritage is good , well maintained , air conditioned , just has the right amount of books
The grounds are well maintained here. Playing is fun and there are dedicated football team of heritage

Dislikes

There's no annual fest , and very less of such extracurricular activities to look out for.
The location of heritage is really bad one , far away from the main city .
The principal here is unsupportive of the cultural programs , the club's are there for namesake and most of the campus comes under the heritage school and not the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose ECE because the course promises opportunities now and in the future , apart from that this course suits me because of my personal interest in electrical circuits and it's elements . The faculty to student ratio is healthy in our course but I don't have knowledge on other courses. Most of the faculty have done there either MTECH or PhD from the prestigious Jadavpur University of Kolkata . Their teaching method are quite understandable and the teachers have good knowledge on their topic but still there are exceptions.

i like the method of study. sirs are very halpful
i like the facalty and no ragging in this collage.
i like the whole collage . heritage campus is very beautifull.

Dislikes

i dislike about the collage is the location of the collage.
the collage is too far from the main road.

around 6th semister students are alegible for plecement. the mars requiters company of this collage is TCS, IBM. also there is so many tech and core companys. highest package of this collage is 45 LPA and the average package is 8 to 10 LPA.

The truth of Heritage Institute of Technology

Likes

Faculty - faculty is helpful and know their subject
Course fee is less compared to other colleges .
It has a good library with the right amount of books for one to study .

Dislikes

Extracurricular activities are not encouraged neither supported , and neither the fests happen.
The campus , most of the ground come under the heritage school and not the college , and we have to bring our own sports equipments
Location of the college is not good , far away from the main Kolkata city .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course btech cse because I aspire to be a software engineer and have genuine interest in coding. The college mantains a healthy faculty:student ratio . Most of the faculty here is helpful and have good knowledge over the topics they teach though there are some exceptions . The semester exams are conducted after 6 months and in betweens we're provided with surprise tests ranging from easy to moderate levels .

Is Heritage Institute of Technology worth it?

Likes

Faculty - The faculty members are decent and most of them have good knowledge in their subject
Equipment- The equipments here are decent , practicals go smoothly.
Library- the library is really well mantained and has a lot of helpful books for the students to study or refer from.

Dislikes

Fest - There are no fests ,like the other colleges have.
No Student council - There s no student council which could have fought for the students rights, could have encourage more extracurricular activities in the college.
Small campus and a really bad location far away form main city of kolkata

I aspire to be a software engineer and that is why I chose this course. Faculty to student ratio is healthy and the teaching of some particular professors is good, some not. Semester exams are held once in 6 months, outside that we are given suprise tests ranging from easy to moderate difficulty

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.
