- College is very good ,and provide excellent opportunities for students to perform various club activities and provide placements to good companies with high packages. It also has an excellent campus environment which makes the students feel good.yyh
Dislikes
- In even semesters the classes are too short and students usually perform very bad in those semesters
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placement at 4th year of the course that is the final year.the placements provided by the college has good packages to good companies.almost 40 percentage of the students gets placed ..

- Campus Life.College have a strech of 75 acres with 8 departments and providing many opportunities in sports and games etc.
- Good faculty. Night life is so good at GECT. We spend whole day at college no one asked anything. Zero ragging makes our campus unique. Seniors just like our friends they will give their maximum for helping us.
- Easy accessibility to railway station,bus station, hospital, police station etc.
Placement Experience:
Students are allowed to take place in placement from their 5th semester onwards . There's a placement cell working at the college providing the opportunity for placement and making the students prepared for placements.
More than 60% students are placed this year with more than 30 companies visit with an average package of 500000.

- Good campus life. Friendly and helpful faculty and staff. Good libary facilities. Good encouragement for sports and extra curriculars

- Lesser placement rates than other branches
Placement Experience:
Students from 7th sem are eligible for campus placements.
Highest package was about 5 to 6 lpa.
In this branch students getting placements in quite low when compared to other branches in this colleges

- This college has a very nice ambience. It's very calm and quite.
- Transportation facilities are good. We can easily reach out from railway station through bus to there.
- They have fine infrastructure and faculties.
Dislikes
- In this there is no seperate techfest. They had only one fest which include both culturals and tech.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The time for preparation is very congested. The syllabus is quite irrelevant to the future. It's not applicable to the future in any field. The course is highly relevant in other countries. But here it is a little bit difficult to carry on.

- First of all i like this college because it’s government college. Then gect is the 2 nd best engineering college in the ktu university
- Campus is good and the college life is also good
Placement Experience:
From Semester 6 students become eligible for campus placements
Mrf, cisco, wipro, Renault, etc. are the companies visited and 10 lpa are offered
A maximum of 15 lpa is offered
80% of students are getting placed
I plan to take master's at the best college after getting the degree

- Some responsible less faculties, cleanless bathrooms,
- Improper drinking water facilities in the campus
- Lack of technical festivals in the college

Government engineering college thrissur is having lots of placement packages. The average salary package is 400000 per annum. Google, Tata, reliance, vipro, kinfra, cipla, federal bank etc come here for placements

There is good placement in our college.Oracle,Air India,mrf,mahindra and all.Highest package of last year is about 30-40 lpa and average package is about 4-6lpa.Some students are opting higher studies through gate exam also

Third semester onwards campus placements are provided. Oracle, Air india, MRF, Mahindra, Bajaj, Wipro are companies which are frequently given on campus placements. Highest package of last year is 30-40lpa and average package is 6.8lpa.

- Seniors are very kind and friendly they also help us in many things
- The campus and the overall atmosphere is very good for a student

- Sometimes there was issue with water availability but it's all cleared

Placements happening in our college are very good they provide placements with the minimum salary package and the average salary package last year was 6.8 lakh the highest package last year was 30 to 40 lakhs per annum different better companies have visited or college and some of the students have got placement through events conducted in students get into placement after third year

- College provides an inspiring atmosphere and faculty
- Easy to reach as it is located near to railway station and public transport station and close to the main Thrissur town
- Different clubs and activities to cherish and upgrade skills and interests of each student
Dislikes
- Way of teaching can be improved, involving methods using video classes and practical sessions
Placement Experience:
Various placements are offered by our college in every courses of btech. Computer science and electronics and communication engineering are on the topic in the list placed graduates. Placements are also offered for civil engineering. But mainly students chooses for mtech or other higher options or government exams in this field
