GEC Thrissur Placement 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

Government Engineering College (GEC), Thrissur, maintains an active placement cell that coordinates with numerous companies to provide various job and internship opportunities for its students. Annually, around 300 out of 540 final-year students secure placements, with a majority in the IT sector. Major recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Oracle, MRF, Reliance, and more, offering average salary packages between 3 to 4 lakhs per annum, with some high packages reaching up to 40 lakhs.

The placement cell also facilitates training to enhance interview and aptitude skills. Core sector placements are noticeably fewer, with less than 10% of total placements. Internships are encouraged, and students often pursue them independently, with support from the college. The highest package reported was 60 LPA, and around 70% of students typically receive job offers, mainly from IT companies.
