The college campus is grateful and environmental is very beautiful the teaching staff is very intelligent and the college placement is average and the hostel is very clean and provide many scholarships the college orgabnise many event thats very grea
Placements at the government college of engineering, amravati (gcoea) are reasonably strong, with top companies like capgemini, wipro, and persistent systems recruiting students.
Yes, colleges scholarship department always help to students for getting scholarship.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is some of poor. only first and second year students staying.
Placements must have to improve college uniform is not so good
There is a lot of water issue in our hostel, which is annoying

GCOEA in REAL

Likes

The Campus is Very large and has a very big ground and ambient space.
The Cultural and Technical program that are held are very large and on next scale.
Current the construction of new two buliding for department and different places are being done

Dislikes

The do not provide hostel facility for all students only a handful of them get it based on caste certificate and else have to stay outside.
Sports ground and indoor facility are only maintained at the time of sports festival other wise the are left untouched

Placement Experience:

Here the students at final year are available for college placement. There are more than 20 companies which has come last year prominent among them are NVIDIA, TCS, L&T, Adani Electrical, Cognizant, Proficient and many more. The highest package offered was of 15,00,000 and average package of 3,00,000.In IT and CS department the placement was 100% and overall the placement was 35%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is based on how these civil engineering subjects can be implemented in work life or in the field since the college is an autonomous college our syllabus is somewhat different than that of the university syllabus.

I like the faculty of our college. They support us in providing additional knowledge other than academic. They support development of entire personality.
I like the college provided campus. It is very big . And there are many places to organise different functions.
I also like the various clubs present in college . Like technical club sports club .

Dislikes

I don't like the hostel timings. It's 7 pm for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was not updated. It has to update accordingly. But the curriculum was informative also. It helps in many aspects actually like I was in electronic and telecommunication their I learnt very deep in that field. Exams conducted very very six months.

Being one of the top government college, the institute is spread in wide area with green environment
Great minds that becomes a part of family with whom we spend 4 yrs
Highly qualified facility for teaching and research purpose

Dislikes

In some area of college some of the building are still old and are not renew

Placement Experience:

Training and placement section of government college of engineering Amravati is quite good. Students are motivated to crack high paying jobs through campus. T&P brings some of the famous MNC companies like Nivida, Samsung, Synopsis etc. With highest package of batch 2020 in Synopsis was of 18.5 LPA

Thinks to know before admission

Likes

The Overall campus of the College is better. Some buildings are in construction after few days the college campus will look more beautiful.
I liked the college library. The atmosphere of the library is too much good
There will be culture fest named as zenith in starting month of year..

Dislikes

The laboratory are not well equipped for the practical purpose.
Also the maintanence of college ground is not proper on time
Also classroom is not too much good as required

I am from electronics and telecommunications branch. So I have opportunity to grow my career in core field as well as IT field.The core knowledge will very beneficiary for the post graduation. Now a days electronics technology are increasing day by bay.

Evaluating faculty effectiveness and qualifications at Government College of Engineering Amravati

Likes

Faculty are friendly explain everything in detail
Provide facility of labs and arranged various seminar for the students
Training and placement department take care that more numbers of company will come in the campus

Dislikes

Checking scheme of the papers of the students

Our course curriculum is related to our stream it is full of electronics and telecommunication flied which helps us to understand and get the knowledge of the subject involved in stream subject like signal and system digital electronics helps to learn about the electronics basics.

Likes

The environment of college, the nature . The garden ,the seating area
The buildings , the infrastructure, architectural design
The upcoming renovation of other departments

Dislikes

The utility area like washroom are not cleaned
The fan's in class room are not working during the exam
Department not provide the proper drinking water for students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd year are chosen from department but in 3rd and 4th year they ask to students for subject which was taken for syllabus. And additional the subject are added by faculty for the studying.Otherwise the curriculum are good.

I think I like about the college is faculty member are very supportive and highly educated and very knowledgeable.
I like the college cultural fest that is zenith . it's organised in very well manner and we enjoyed a lot.
The KCT and ETAS were two events that was specifically for Playing games like treasure hunt and band mition and many more things

Dislikes

Wifi facilities, classroom should be innovative classroom are in very traditional way
Washroom facilities should made proper.sanitary napkins should be made available in girl's hostel.
Water and electricity crisis at most of time there is no watee and no electricity

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is good.but all the students not get placement some got the placement package were moderate and college bring the company for placement and internship it depends on individual level that study is that much that to crack the placement or not

Very good coordination and support

Likes

Focus on competitive exams like GATE. I was preparing for GATE and the facilities guided me very well through the preparation and also supported during exam phase. The college exam timetables never overlapped with GATE exam dates
Student Association activities. The Electronics and telecommunications association of students conducted many events and activities throughout the 4 years of my stay. These activities were very amusing. The department felt like a family.
The R&D policies of college. There were policies which supported students to go to conferences, participate in courses and there were also many reimbursement programs.

Dislikes

Bad infrastructure of washrooms. The washrooms were very badly built though the cleanliness was okayish, it needs furnishing.
The wifi sucks. The internet barely works in any area in the college. The college wifi also provides bad connectivity.
Bad ventilation in classrooms. The classrooms are not provided with coolers or ducts, so it heats badly. The scenario is worst in summers.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards, students are eligible for placements. Zoho, Siemens, Ribbon Communications, TCS visited the campus. Total 8 offers are made so far and the placements are still ongoing. Highest package offered is 8.5LPA.

Why should we take admission in GCOEA

Likes

College gives importance to students stream related knowledge. Which improves students overall performance.
By various cultural and tech fest college stay connected with students
Faculty is so helpful sometimes they are strict but overall they always support students for innovative ideas.

Dislikes

Canteen is not that good. It can be improved.
Benches are not that good and comfortable to sit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well designed for students to understand lots of concepts about electronics and telecommunication. There should be slight improvement college can add subject or practical's like embedded system, internet of things, etc.
