College gives importance to students stream related knowledge. Which improves students overall performance.
By various cultural and tech fest college stay connected with students
Faculty is so helpful sometimes they are strict but overall they always support students for innovative ideas.

Dislikes

Canteen is not that good. It can be improved.
Benches are not that good and comfortable to sit.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is well designed for students to understand lots of concepts about electronics and telecommunication. There should be slight improvement college can add subject or practical's like embedded system, internet of things, etc.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 68550 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for tfws candidates is 68550 which is so many as compared to others. The overall fees structure is good for the various category students. But the students which are filling for tfws keep in mind that fees of tfws is more in government college as compared to private.

Campus Life

College gives lots of opportunities to develop our social skills by various cultural and tech activities which are totally conducted by students of GCOEA. College has vast library which consists all the books related to streams as well as extra readings. College provide good opportunity for development in sports by participating in various inter college sports events.

Admission

The admission is totally based on your common entrance test they did not accept JEE Main or Advanced score. All the process work according cet cell working. The admission people are good and supportive if you have difficulty during the admission.

Faculty

The strength of students is 75 to each year and for that there is 1 teacher to each subject. The teaching of faculty is good and understanding. There are seperate cabins to each faculty member which helps students to interact with teachers one to one and solve the difficulty for which faculty is always ready.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

i got 97.43percentile in MHT CET i have more college options in other locations like pune,Mumbai,sangli etc Other Colleges like coep,pict,etc are very good but i get the lower branch in top instute. Mht-Cet is the entrance exam through which we can get admission in this college. The cut-off is different for various categories.For CSE branch the cut-off of OBC students is 96%tile and for OPEN it is upto 97- 98%tile. Pros and cons of GCOEA

For taking admission in the Government Colleges of Maharashtra every student should have to give the MHTCET exam which are Conducted after 12 Board exmination . Students should have give MHTCET Exam in PCM (Physiscs, Chemistery,Maths) group. I have found application form in MHTCET website, where all details were given. As i am belong to Reserve Category and with additional and my father was Ex- Army person, which made my increase my chances to take admission in Government college .
