Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As a boom in IT industry and and interest in Computer I opted for Department of Information Technology in my college. The curriculum is well prepared but it does not include new technology as it has to uproved by higher educational officer's. Technology and Teachers are upto date but lake support from institution. The paper conducted are created by individual faculty as a result the are Consise related to the topic that are being taught

Placement Experience

4

Here the students at final year are available for college placement. There are more than 20 companies which has come last year prominent among them are NVIDIA, TCS, L&T, Adani Electrical, Cognizant, Proficient and many more. The highest package offered was of 15,00,000 and average package of 3,00,000.In IT and CS department the placement was 100% and overall the placement was 35%.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

As these is a government institute at time of admission I thought the fees will be less compared to private institute but that is not the case here. As an EWS student I pay a fee of rupees 75,550 where the construction fees and network fees sum to nearly 50,000 per year . I only get a scholarship of rupees 8,000 which is very less compared to different institutions.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual and technical festival are called Zenith and Prajwalan respective and the are performed at next level as this is a part of State Government program. The Library is very large and well equipped and has study space, laptop and book related to technical and non technical improvement. Any student can start their own social group and club without any limits or any difference and with the permission of Gymkhana at any point of year.

Admission

To apply for the college you have to apply for MHT-CET or JEE mains entrance examination. As these two are one of the major engineering entrance examination the procedure to enter the college is very easy.

Faculty

4

On average a department has 9 to 12 faculty depending on the department. There are 7 department where the six department has an average of 70 students and a Instrument Department consisting of 30 students. As a result students to teachers ratio is less and on teachers is a mentor of 4 students inlast two years. The faculty are Government selected individual and has high qualification. We can interact with any teachers as the are present in their respective laboratory and cabins during college hour's.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

Students are encouraged to take internships from the moment they are confident and can handle responsibility. They are eligible for placements after semester 4. Approximately 60+ companies visit the campus every year and they take an average of 4-5 offers. For instance, the highest package can be 40+lpa from Microsoft. 90-100% placements happen every year. My plan after getting the degree is to acquire a placement and work with the organization.
