The faculty are nice and well qualified for the role
The campus is also good and the security of the students is also very good
There is no ragging in the college college because there are strict rules set by the college

Dislikes

Also many faculty are very strict for the attendance
The minimum attendance requirement is 75%
The ratio of boys to girls is too low manly in core branches

Admission:

I applied to many colleges like vjti, coep and many other nits but I didn't get admission in them. So because of that I had to choose this college rather than other good colleges . For admission you need to give mhtcet exam and you need to score more than 90 percentile to get admission.

Likes

I openly appreciate some things about my college that is placement that my college offered .
The great thing is the faculty that my college had .
The efforts all workers, staff's and teachers give for the college.

Admission:

I also apply some colleges in the pune but the College i got in sambhajinagar is government college. The hype and the benefits of this College is so excellent. I didnt get the rejection cause except this College i applied for the coep but the cutt off of that college is so high .

Life in GECA, not so good but still you enjoy it.

Likes

The experience of faculty is good. Also lot of labs and instruments are in working condition.
College has good size of campus. They do have good alumni network.
Placements are not that good, but they do make sure you get internship opportunities.

Dislikes

Some hourly paid teachers are hired who are not really good at teaching.
College needs to get more organized and the level of fests needs to be improved.
Placements are not really good, even after having good alumni network. They just don't use it.

Admission:

Due to the reputation of being a government college and autonomous status and also due to city vibes, I chose this one. I was getting private pune engineering colleges but the fees and other expenses dosen't make sense to the features they provide. You need to give mhtcet examand score maybe 90+ percentile to make your sure your place. And cutoff for tech branches of cse, it, ENTC is pretty high. Minimum 95 percentile is required.

The Social Life Is Nice In College Campus As Students Are Very Innovative And Friendly. The Necessary Facilities Required For The College Life Is Available In Campus.College Has Nice Infrastructure.
Faculties And The Curriculum Are Very Helpful And Informative Regarding Their Course , They Also Help To All required Industrial Knowledge.
The College Is Very Good For The Core Branches Like Mechanical,Electrical and civil As They All have large Number In Placed Students For IT Branches Also Good .

Dislikes

College Mostly Have Lackness Regarding The Funding To Invent Some Projects.
Laboratories Have Limited Sources To Perform The Practicals.
Boys Hostel Has Limited Seats To Students.

I was filled lots Of Options Like COEP,Walchand Sangali,PCCCOE ,GECA,MIT,DIEMTS For Only CSE,IT,EnTC,AI only In My option Form Of College And I Alloted To The GECA in All The Round Of CAP 1,2,3 in EnTC Branch So I was Known About the placements and the Infrastrucure So I decided To Get In. About The Admission Procces Then You Need To Clear The MHT-CET Exam First Then You Have Meet The Necessary Cutoffs of Respective Demanding Branches Like I want Share that For General Category Cse will Be 97-98%tile For Cap 1 For Cap 2 and 3 the percentile will get lower by 0.5-1.0%tile For More you can visit Website. Another one admission type is Spot Round also Known By Instutuitional level Round Is Also Conducted The College Where you have To fillout the From College Website and Then You Visit with necessary Documents And fees Required for Admission, there Merit Based admissions takes place in spot round and you have to pay Full fees during admission otherwise your admission will be canceled.The Overall Asmission Experience Was exploring and intresting as This Was my first time Experience About the Admissions.

Government College of engineering Aurangabad making your life good and happy

Likes

The faculty is really highly educated and very good at problem solving and teaching in simple way
There are many sports and cultural event extra curriculum activities are happen and that is really good for your
The principal is really invested in student problem also many workshop are held in the college so you can get the experience for industries for example industrial safety workshop

Dislikes

The washrooms are not that typing as expected
Wi-Fi here does not work and very disappointing
Teachers are really very very strict and maintain discipline

I applied for many colleges in around cities Pune Mumbai but I have chosing this college over all the other colleges was because other colleges were private and this is the autonomous government institute which make me to be flexible and to learn different according to my teachers in other colleges that is really lot higher fees like 1.5 lakh but in this college only 83000 is there and it is really value for money on the basis of placement also in other colleges there is not much placement ratio but in my college there is lot of placement and average packages 6 lakhs and also companies like TCS c means LNT are here to text

Relaxed and stress free academics . The attendance scene here isn't so tough , it's very chill. The teachers rarely ever detain anyone for the attendance. So you get a lot of free time fot other things like your hobbies or sports. The teachers are he
The infrastructure is old but well maintained. Not all washrooms are well maintained but some are good.
The hostels are good, they're well maintained and the food in boys hostel is great.

Dislikes

Not many things to do, there's a lack of events and socialisation.
Some faculty members aren't good teachers, and are almost very angry.
The library lacks cleanliness and also you can't get books apart from your syllabus

Admission:

I applied to a few colleges like VIT mumbai, DY Patil Akurdi and Thadomal, i didn't get admission in thadomal and DYP, but i did get admission in VIT Pune, i picked GECA because it's closer to my house. I didn't confirm my admission in VIT and was too late to do so. My college GECA accepts admissions through CET centralised admission process based on the MHTCET scores. The admission experience was smooth.

Whether to choose Government College of Engineering or not?

Likes

Campus is cozy, though it is not big, it's beautiful.
Senior and junior interactions totally depends on every one, but people are nice.
Student council is great, mainly depends on student itself, but great environment.

Dislikes

Placements are not great, it is the area where college should get more improvements.
Events should be more organized, it is good, but can improve.

Admission:

Personally, I wanted a college where there isn't much rush. Like, some private colleges have hundreds and hundreds of students where not much attention can be given to every student by faculty. You won;t have such a problem here, most faculty knows you even if you are slightly active in class.

Likes

Regular college classes is run and expert teachers are available for teaching student
A good lab and practicle teaching in my college with expert faculty
Even sports facilities and extera ceicular activities like art and culture club, palcement club etc are provided and running with a great discipline

Dislikes

Small campus which is really a disadvantage of my college..
My college area is very outside from cities its a rural area

Admission:

Really after giving entrance exam for btech lateral entery i was not sure which college was given to me.. its all depend on your rank.. and in my choice it was 2nd from top of my choice and i got.. i take this because it was near my home.. its campus was small Compare to other colleges of my university.. and other hand studies was as equal as other colleges.
