My honest thoughts on my college

Faculty:

The teacher to student ratio is 1/ 60 . The relationship we had with our faculty is also very friendly. I thought best faculty of my college is from mathematics department. The way he teach is great and so nice .

Life in GECA, not so good but still you enjoy it.

Likes

The experience of faculty is good. Also lot of labs and instruments are in working condition.

Dislikes

Some hourly paid teachers are hired who are not really good at teaching.

Permanent teachers are good. Because of autonomous status of they only teach exam specific someone's due to time constraints. But hourly paid non permanent teachers sucks to hell. They better get fired. Most hated teacher in ENTC dept is wankhede sir

GECA - Nice College with joyfull campus life and Good placements

Faculties And The Curriculum Are Very Helpful And Informative Regarding Their Course , They Also Help To All required Industrial Knowledge.

So Faculties Like Mixed Type But Prefferably Good.For A Whole Class one Teacher Is Given But For Performing Practicals The Whole is devided into 3 to 4 Batches Depending On The Year are You In, So here The Student to faculty Ratio is Different.Faculties Are Very Helpful as They Provide all Neccesary Inforamation Regarding the Course and to Encourage the Students In Placements,Higher Studies And Startups.They Provide all the material Which Students Needs For The Study, Sometimes If Any Students Do not Give Attention To The Faculties Then They GIve Them Warning Or Punishments Accordingly. But The Overall Experience With The Faculties Are Good.Regarding The Exams Let Us Disccused Here That :- SO 4 Exams Are Held For A subject In a Semister 1) Class Test(ISE) 1 2) Class Test(ISE) 2 3) EndSemister Exam 4) Re-ESE. So The If In case You Find Trouble To give The Class Tests Then You Can Give It As re Later on but ESE is Compulsary To Attend. The Difficulties IN Exams are like The Class Tests Are Easier And The ESE and RE-ESE are harder. The Curriculum About any Subject Is Very Relevent And As The Courses Is Under New Education Policy 2020 (NEP2020)So The Subjects Are Good Updated In Point Of View Of Relevency and In NEP2020 The Offer Us Nive Minors And Honors Courses Along The Degree Coureses Which Is One Of The Good Thing, So the Overall Experience About The Curriculum Is Great.

Government College of engineering Aurangabad making your life good and happy

The faculty is really highly educated and very good at problem solving and teaching in simple way
The principal is really invested in student problem also many workshop are held in the college so you can get the experience for industries for example industrial safety workshop

Teachers are really very very strict and maintain discipline

Faculty to student relationship is really very nice they are really very strict and that is not good for students in their in their thinking but it is really good for them for the future faculty are really very highly educated as I am studying in electrical department all my faculty members are permanent and their all PhD holders the exams are here held every semester and semester examination and in every semester two class test are held

There aren't enough permanent faculty members so they hire teachers on contract basis, some are good while some aren't. The student faculty ratio is decent though. Many faculty members are quite supportive with both academics and extra curriculars. I like Mote mam, she's the physics teacher, she guides us with extra curriculars too. I kinda dislike Sathe and shinde sir, sathe sir didn't conduct much of our lectures. We have ISE1 , ISE2 , internal assessment and the end sems, they're all fairly easy. The course curriculum is kinda relevant to todays time but not so much.

Engineering wala

Lectures are not going on time and syllabus not completed on time

There are 60 students in a IT branch for them there are 7 teachers. Including practical All teachers are good but some time there syallbus not complete on the times Exam are modrate not so easy .but exams conducted two times in year

Every kind of faculty-student relationship depends on every department itself. On average, the ratio is pretty good, though it needs to be more great. There are some faculty that are truely passionate about there work, while some are just here for the pay check.

College is affordable for got good Environment.

The Faculties of the college are well experienced in there own field and try best for the each and Every student. Some the our facilities are - Prof.Nirbhay kumar, Prof.Amit Bhardwaj, Prof.Vijeeta Singh, Dr.Sarita Kumari, I like with there friendly behaviour and they impressed me by the knowledge delivery capacity and there Energy level in teaching. They are also available for us for 24*7 to solve our technical and non-technical problems. But lastly I say Every facilities is best in there own field. There are 8 semester in 4years of course study and in each semester there are two exam held , one is Mid-term and other is University Final Examination. The Minimum marks to qualify university exam is 25 out of 75 . Some practical exam and viva are performed by the external Facilities and Presentation of Each subject.

My college, my knowledge temple

Teaching staff is highly educated and experienced in their respective fields

My liked faculty name is shraddha Wangujre Mam they teach us whole heartedly, and with ful preparation, Vijay kanke sir reached us chemistry in first semister and he was the worst teacher I have seen, he was so rude, and does not provided us notes, exams are normaly easy but some teachers make question paper too tough the students who got this college on the basis of handicap certificate or sc/st cast may feel some difficulty to passs the exams, last year 5-6 propes have got yeare back in first year out off which 3 students dropped this college and trying some other carier option, 1 or 2 backs in exams is so normal in this college, some students may have 3 or 4 backs in last 2 semister of first year, there are lost of students who have passed their all exams and not a single subject is back , faculty expect 3-4 pages answer in the answer sheet during exams , they focus on quantity of ans and matter in the answer gets ingnored if it is not lengthy. 75% attendance is compulsory for all .
