I loved coding, thats why I chose the computer science branch. I am a very good student in my class!
The internship at GEC is very good, in fact, one of the best in the state. It provides 85% job placement every year, which is outstanding.

Dislikes

Not a single company came to our college, so we did not have an opportunity to have an internship.
The college even takes the students estimated first salary in order to get them placed

For studies u can choose these college but for enjoyment prefer other college

Likes

All seminars are done of different departments by guests called from IIT, famous private institutes,staff of big companies.
College provide placements . Highest package has gone abt 12lakh.

Dislikes

Hostel food is not so good but it's near and clean and healthy but not satisfying the taste.
For scholars they face difficulties as sometimes bus timing get changed and they reach home late abt 6:30 or 7:00 pm.

Placement Experience:

I thing from 6 or 7 semester or we can say from 3rd year or if u perform good in internship then after graduation they will select u . Companies like HCl tech,TCS,Wipro,etc (prefer college website). Last highest package is 12 lakh I think so. I think 75 students get placement My future plan is to get master degree from reputed college or I will prefer foreign studies

Likes

Here is very Good campus life with club and events.
Strong faculty expertise and engaging teaching method

Dislikes

Need to improve in the examination on modular test
Need to improve in mental health services for student

Placement Experience:

In the 6th semester student are get eligible for the placement. There are so many companies visited for placement some of companies like tcs, aditya birla, delta x etc. Highest package is placed on wonder botz around 10 lpa. Some few number of student get placed who have great academic background those are selected for placement.

First of all the college is placed in a very good place and few away from city laife so the surrounding is very noiseless
The management and the faculty are good and freindly

Dislikes

There is no fixed date of exam. And the holy day is very less

The college provide the avg package of 400000 per anual and they provide the company like tcs, Infosys, mahindra, airtel, ramtech. And the college is its own placement if you want to work in this college it also available here

Likes

Faculty and environment , food in cafeteria and the way seminar are being conducted
Scholarship are provided for good cgpa students

Dislikes

Food in our mess , some ac are not working
Network issue inside the college campus and wifi also doesn't work

Placement Experience:

Placement is ok ok type . The average package is about 300000 and the highest package was about 8 lakh. This was good as per our courses unlike other colleges. The way they prepare us for placement is impressive.

Likes

Faculties are good and their studying style is also good.
Library is thier and you can brought books and notes.

Dislikes

The food of hostel is not so much good .
The mobile network is very poor in hostel and also in college.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester we are become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited like :- Oracle , Skew spider , Wipro , Cognezent. The highest package is 8 lakh and average package is 4 to 5 lakh. Percentage of students getting placement is nearly 70 to 80 .

Likes

The teaching quality of the college is quite excellent.
The campus is quite good and nature friendly

It is far from the city the problem is to reaching out here
The exams are very tough and conducted very months

The changing world has influenced me to choose the curriculum as the trends in the technology is increasing in a faster rate. The curriculum prepare us to tackle all the rel life scenarios with a approachable way which is easy to handle. There should be more practical classes than theory and main focus should be in developing skills in the respective field. There are exams every month and it is manageable with time also.

Education Quality:These is no 1 autonumus college in Odisha because of his good quality of education.
Faculties:There are lots of experienced teachers are there in this college ,there are many profesor are also there,and they share there experience with us which help us in our study.

Dislikes

Transportation:This is located in a rural area so auto are not run in this area very much but college has buses.
Location:This is located in a rural area which make little trouble for travelling,and auto are not much in this area.

Likes

The study environment is quite good in the college and makes u to study hard.
The college campus is good and is green and the campus practice environmental friendly activities

The college curriculum includes all the subjects that are useful for us on the future and would be helpful in taking job in the future and which will be helpful to increase our skill for seeking job in the future it also teaches us about how to perform in an organisation and be attached to it. There is no area for improvement in yhe curriculum that are needed in the college. The frequency and timings of exam is quite hard and it is manageable too.

About the College

Likes

Our college conduct different seminars for providing internships and skills.
Our college has sports competition as well . They organised inter- college sport's competition for different sports.

Dislikes

They conduct 3 modular tests in every month of different modules which is very stressful for students.
They ask for subject specific project for all subjects and don't give much time for preparing the project or model.

Placement Experience:

After 6-7 Semester , All students are eligible for placements . There are many companies which are coming in our college for placements like TCS, Zindal, Tata motors, and some local companies also like from OCAC Tower in Bhubaneswar. Almost 70-80 % students are getting placed with their average package depending on their skills and branch.
