Likes

You can afford the post matric scholarship and e-medhabruti as well.
There is a beautiful well planned garden infront of the building
The faculty members are very friendly in nature and helps students a lot.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities were good as cleanliness was there but the time of going out and coming in for students was sick.
There was problem for our batch as after placements we have to give consultant charges that varies from 10k to 25000.
Tuition fees are constant but the other fields like hostel fees and mess fees are increasing per year which is not good.

Review about GEC College bhubaneswar

Likes

College teachers are so good but they need some extra staff to manage all sections.
The placement is also good in gec,they have placed a lot of students last year.
It is coming to infrastructure then one of the best infrastructure u can find in bbsr in GEC College.

Dislikes

The food service is poor in gec. They should improve it
The rules and regulations in gec are very strict.they have to be less rude.
They don't provide any outsport and activities and intecolleg sports.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I visited GEC Autonomous college on the year of 2018 for 1st time. My brother was a former student of GEC. he have done his btech there and now he is in Infosys as a senior developer. That's why I was inspired.

Overall all Experience In colleze life

Likes

Teachers never miss a single class you have to attend all classes like you do in school
Campus is quite decent in look wise but very small on size
We have playground for sports like badminton volleyball and basketball

Dislikes

You can't survive with mess food specially for vegetarians
Gate closing time is very early like boys don't allowed to go after 6:00pm and girls after 5:30pm
Rules and regulations are very strict here

Placement Experience:

After completing 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement if don't have any back logs. Companies like TCS FLIPKART BYJUS come here This year we've got 99% placement and 15student get 10LPA

Review of Gandhi Engineering College Bhubaneswar

Likes

I like my college campus and the extra curriculum activities of my college.
Totally I like my college. And my campus life.
The knowledge and the faculty aur also good . They teach us very well. There are many events organised by college to increase our knowledge.

Dislikes

The management of my college is not so good . I don't like it.
The strictness of college is also very bad. The building structure is also not so good .
The management of my college is so poor that they don't take any design properly. Always they thik of themselves and we are suffering for this.

Placement Experience:

7th semester students are eligible for the placement criteria . Average company are visiting our college the provide decent package of 3-10 lakh . Highest package offer is 10 lakh this Year. 98% of students are placed this year. My plan is to do private job as a software engineer.

An Honest Review for Gandhi Engineering College

Likes

The overall campus experience is quite good. The faculty members are also good .
The college is quite affordable and good for middle class families. The placement ratio is also well as comapred to the college fees.
The college campus is equiped with all the necessitites inside.

Dislikes

There are some faculties which are rude and sometimes the college doesn't listen to anybody and does whatever it wants to do.
Transportation facilities are not adequate and thus it is quite costly.

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester are eligible for placements. There are many companies like hiremi, Tech Mahindra, TCS and many more which visit our college campus for picking up students. In the last placement drive our college has offered placement of 10+ lpa to more than 5 studnents. Mostly all of the students are getting placed in our college, some get less packages and some get more. I'm planning to get a salary of about 7-10 lpa whether in campus or off campus.

Vibrant Campus life

Likes

The Campus of the college is so beautiful and scenic.
There is a beautiful well planned garden infront of the building
A canteen is also there inside the campus

Dislikes

There is lack of playground for cricket , not supporting to sports students
No outdoor games and sports that's why sports students are not happy
No proper timing so student facing problem

Course Curriculum Overview:

Today it is very important to decide college, so according to me, GEC is the best place to complete graduation and master without any second thought. Their teachings techniques made us for real world application.

A journey to GEC

Likes

The teachers and management are too good and freindly
The canteen is clean and well maintained by staff

In rainy season the water comes to the classroom

Placement of gandhi engineering college are good. The students of the college are being prepared for interview from third year onwards with pre placement training facilities provided by the college itself.

Honest review for my College

Likes

The space and the atmosphere is study friendly.
Hostels facilities were good including the cleaning facility
Environment is calm and teachers are supportive

Dislikes

The hostel timings for Girls was not helpful at all.
Outing options for girls was biased. Boys were getting to go out at any time
Food was not that great but manageable only.

Placement Experience:

Placements at this time was average. But there was problem for our batch as after Placements we have to give consultant charges that varies from 10k to 25000. Some of us paid the charges twice as there is no proper communication. Some people are still unemployed even after paying the charges.

College environment and infrastructure etc

After 4-5 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Byjus, chetu, Wipro, etc visited to our college. The highest package is 10 lakh per annum and the average package is 3 lakh per annum.The percentage of students who get the job is almost 70-80 %. My plan is to get a job as data analytics.
