CIEM Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am in 2nd yr but still we giving the assumption of placement. There are 400+companies are in hand to sunstone eduversity. Average package - 5lpa Highest package - 10 to 12 LPA Companies are coming and going throughout the years.

Honestly speaking this is not a great place for placements but there are few exceptions in CESC and IT department they do get placed in different IT firms with average of 3.2 LPA. But for core sectors like EE, Civil, ECE it was a hard job for them to get placed from college.

I choose Computer Science and Engineering as i want to jon any IT sector and also want to learn the programming languages.In my computer science department falculty members are very much co-operative. We get proper practical training. The way of teaching is also very nice. When ever anyone face some problem or difficulty to understand any topic professors are always ready to make understand them.There are 8 semesters.In each semester there are 2 internal exams. The internal exams are conducted by teachers only. So if anyone is attending the classes regularly then it will be easy for them to pass. The semester exams are quite tough than the internal exams.

No there was no interview. Because I am entering this college through our entrance exam WB JEE , and also there was no written exam and all like this .

In the Final year. So, depending upon the courses it's either 7th or 5th or 3rd (B.tech, Bba, Mba). TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Kreeti and some others. Avg is 5 LPA. Somewhere between 50-70%.To get a job, pay the education loan, Prepare for CAT, OPT FOR MBA.

Placement facilities are available here but yes! One has to work hard to achieve it. Tech Mahindra, TCS, cognizant, Infosys, etc. These companies are also the recruiters. The average package is 4 to 6 LPA

Many IT companies visit CIEM. The placement record is fair. Companies Mahendra, TCS, IBN often visit the college campus. The students are placed well dicent package every year. The placement cell is very good and TPO is also supportive in our college. It is a placement rate wonderful it is around 85% to 90%.

After completing BTech we are able to to face for placement. There are many company visit to the college like Amazon , Samsung etc The company offer highest package 9 lakh and the lowest package 3 lakh. Almost all of the students get campus selection but mostly 60 persent get campus selected. After completing my BTech I have to clear UPSC after that I may join any of defence engineering.

Students become eligible after passing their final semester for the campus placement in this college. Companies that visit this college are mostly Indian small companies no multinational companies visit for the placement. It’s upon your self how you get the job. They will give you opportunities to get the job they will teach you everything that makes you best to get to a job, trust me you will get the job as soon as possible. Value-for-money. Around 3.5 lac per year. If I don't get to campus I will go off campus it will better for me.

From 7th-semester student becomes eligible for campus placements. Infosys Ibm Hcl Tech Mahindra are some of the companies that visit. The average package is 4 Lakh PA. 90 percent of the students get placed. My plan is to apply for off-campus.
