Interest in sports. Like if you are good athlete and have some interest in sports then you are most welcome. The sports organisation and faculty is very cheerful and active so there's no need to be shy if you are thinking am just a fresher

The faculty here is mean and selfish. There is no unity in the faculty and the corruption is on some next level.

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio is not good enough like i feel there should be more faculty members available for us to learn. Well some of them are really good and approachable like they are there to help you out of any issues but on the other hand the majority of faculty members are just mean and selfish. They does not care about you and your learnings and even your marks and future.Our previous HOD was the best. In a semester there are about 4 continous assesment (CA) and 2 practicals (PCA) then the finals consisting of all the theory papers, practicals, and lab manuals.

Journey of CIEM_2021-2025

Few teacher are supportive and good in nature towards students.

Faculty and student relationship is very good, they can take help from any faculty memebers. Few of the faculties are good and knowledgeable. There four internal exam during semester that is CA-1 to CA-4. Mostly exam are easy to crack, 95% students get good marks. Course curriculum is very well structured and industry oriented.

Life at CIEM

The relationship between faculty and student is good. Some of the teachers are supportive and they help student regarding the projects and other purposes. One of our CSE HOD DBA sir is very experienced and can teach us and clear our concept. There are total four inter exam in every semester. Internal exam is easy and student can score good marks. Course curriculum is very good and syllabus is well structured.

My College Experience Uncovered.

The Faculties, especially the teaching staff. They are outstanding, supportive in nature, they don't mind even if you call them at 12 at night.

The management is poor. Most of the faculties provided in the management section are arrogant.

The ratio of faculty-to-student is appreciable, to be precise if any one has a doubt, or he/she needs any kind of help, there will always be one faculty member free for any subject or for any random help. The faculties from my department that I appreciate the most are the HoD (Mr. Sumanta Das), Suindra Sir, Rashmiprava Ma'am, Raju Sir, Surajita Ma'am from core field as all the above mentioned faculties never deny in terms of providing any kind of help be it with the syllabus point of view or any other projects, report, or studies one is currently working at. Talking about the exam pattern conduct by the university, we have to appear in 4 Continuous Assesment exams then we have semester exam and then at last the Practicals. The level of the exam is usually intermediate to difficult. Many students fail to clear the exams but with minimum margin.

College life is best...

Faculty to student relationship is quite good and they are approachable also. Almost all teachers are good. Few teachers i don't like because I don't understand their way of teaching that's it. Semester wise exam and practical exam was there. Few students got backlog. Curriculum is relevent.

The teachers are great. They talk politely and give keen interest in students doubts. And love all the students equally.
The provided notes are very helpful for university examination. The teachers responsible for good marks.

So basically our faculty are great. They give importance and keep check on every student equally. There are 4 continuous assesment before semister exams and 2 lab exams also. The exams are not very tough. First exam is presentation then comes report then written finally comes online test then sem occur.There are may be 10 faculties for each branch as our college has many branches like ECE,CSE,IT,CIVIL, MECHANICAL so now you add on.

Student Snaps:

Naming the teachers is something I cannot do. There is one teacher for every 20-30 students. Faculty members are very very supportive of the students, of course there are exceptions. Every semester there are 4 written assessments and 2 practical assessments before the sem exams. Semester exams are quite challenging but securing passing marks should not be a challenge. One out of every 10 students fail to clear the exams and one out of every 100 students needs to take a drop and repeat a year. Course curriculum is very much relevant to the career

Faculty members are good and they provide you good mentor ship and they are very helpful in nature but they need to see on some matters like college development and some classes developement in Ciem college. And exam are held in own college and internals are also held in own college.

CIEM's Pros and Cons

Placement Records are Average in CSE, IT, ECE.Companies like Amazon, Amedeus and several others visits the campus. Several Government internships Opportunities area also provided by Professor's references if you perform well.

Usually the professors have Done BTECH and MTECH from some colleges like Jadavpur University, NIT Durgapur and etc. Quite a few Professor have Ph.D and research publications as well. There are 8-10 professors approximately for every dept. The professors are available for interactions and Doubt solving if any.

CIEM is Best for Engineers

I interact with our faculties without any hesitate. But as I spoke very few students are dare to make question with our maths faculties because their behavior is not such good to students and that's why 70 to 80 percentage student are failed in maths in first and second year.
