CIEM Kolkata Application Process 2025

CIEM Kolkata Admission & application procedure for 2025 have been discussed below.

Step 1: Appear for WBJEE or JEE Main and secure a valid rank (e.g., approximately within 26,000 for WBJEE).
Step 2: Apply through the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) website or CIEM’s official website (www.ciem.ac.in).
Step 3: Participate in WBJEEB counseling, where 90% of seats are filled based on WBJEE ranks and 10% based on JEE Main ranks.
Step 4: Submit required documents (Class 10/12 mark sheets, entrance exam scorecard, transfer certificate, migration certificate if applicable) and pay the application fee via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.
Step 5: Attend counseling sessions, get seat allotment, and complete admission formalities by paying fees.

Things You Should Know About Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management

Admission:

My sister was already studying in this college so she recommended this and also i was planning to stay here in kolkata itself. Transportation is quite literally available from all sides, there are metros, buses, autos like anything you can ask for. Majorly thats the reason i chose this college over others. You can get admission through WBJEE and the admission portal opens around late july to early september. The cutoffs varies each year regarding the entrance exam.

The main reason behind choosing the college over other colleges is it's electrical department's history. The electrical department has received many awards, certificates for the projects development. There was a time when the college had 120 students in the electrical department. Making it one of the highest in the state. These things pulled my attention and also pulled me in take an admission in the institute. Also the department has won multiple awards at both the state and national level. First of all i got into this college after a WEBJEE score was published. I got to know about it during councilling process. And got into it. But really spoken every college is equal. This college is good and it's not that far from my locality and the reason why I choose this college is because of the ground and extracurricular activities in sports this college is good. The admission process for this college is very easy u just have to fill some form and they will pick you. I had also applied for others colleges like Ilead, techno university and iem and some other colleges and this clg is good form others and I don't have to face anything hard work. Yes I did get rejection from other's college's because of my poor marks in 12th standard and also because I had dropped a year. There is no eligibility for admission in my college and no exams required.
