Dislikes

Strict rules and regulations guiding each and every step in our college life which seems unessecary.
Strict schedules and very fast paced syllabus. They try to mold you into a complete package by second year itself which might be stressful for some.
Very far from cities like coimbatore. Only mode of transport from other cities and states is bus. No ola, no rapido which makes going around the town a little hard

Placement opportunities in the campus

Mostly 90% of students get placed. The only ones who don't get placed are the ones with arrears and those who refused placements to study higher or pursue government or bank jobs Highly respected companies around the world come here. The college concentrated more on product companies than it firms as the understan the need for more product developments in india

Infact for papers like maths they even give the formulas with the question so that we only have to understand the question and we don't have to byheart anything. 1,45,000 per year is the fee for cse in this institute. Various scholarships were available but I have not availed any. Very affordable as rates are standardly set by Anna University. The fee will not increase unless anna University gives permission to do so. As far as fee go that all. There no additional fee apart from semester exam fee

Various sports facilities and clubs of the campus

There are various clubs and sports activities to pursue. Mainly ncc, nss and photo clubs are the most popular around here. Very many clubs are present including clubs like tedx with which our college has partnership. Various sports facilities like cricket ground, indoor badminton court, tennis court, basketball court, etc are available and are actively used by students. Gym facilities are available in boys and girls hostel

What are the facilities provided in the college hostel?

Hostel facility is amazing. There massive hostels for both boys and girls. Boys hostel has exceptional food and laundry facilities. A down side maybe common bathrooms but the are well designed and well maintained. They are cleaned three times a day so the are clean at all times. Ample amount of bathrooms and toilets have been built to avoid crowds. Inside the hostel and campus there are various hotels and canteens where we can purchase food if we feel like it. Hostel fees is 10k per month including food.

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

The staff are highly skilled, respected and well spoken. Every one takes keen care of every student that approaches them and guide them in the right path. Many even conduct researches as it is very financially supported by the institute Exam are 4 parts. Periodic test 1 and 2 cover half the syllabus of semester each Cycle test 1 and 2 cover lab portions End semester theory and lab. These are the only test/exams

Highly value for money. College management understand the need for skill based education and skill based placement in today's competitive world. Due to this they conduct various programs, tests, competitions to upskill students in various fields. Which is helpful in placements

Night Life

Night life is basically non existent inside the college due to strict rules and regulations. Very short amount of time is given for outing. And since the institute is located in mostly farming based town there are no attractions like malls or food street There are few good hotels and shops to look at There is amazing and peaceful scenary but for everything else you need to a 1hr trip to coimbatore.

We need to improve the computer for it field students and the computer in the labs are old model and sometimes they are not working properly.
In some urgency we want leave the mentor alloted for the students does not approve the leave.
The things i dislike is the cleaness of our camps.

At first I decided to join in kumaraguru college in aeronatical engineering.In my counselling result,I got Bannari Amman Institute of Techonogy In IT department.In my admission day.Me and my parents are entered first time in my college.They took the documents they want and take photo for my id card.Then i went to the hostel and see my room.There is no entrance exam in our college.More then 180 cuttoff we can apply for our college.

the social interactions are very good that every faculties and senior students will guide you with full support and care even it is not their job. all seniors will be protective and friendly with us, that makes us to be more interactive.
in my college there is no hourly attendance. only two attendance will be there, morning one time and afternoon one time. that is biggest advantage of this college.
the environment here is so good that it will so much greenery, so it will be more peaceful and more cool in the sunny times, here we have roads which gives more look for the college.

Dislikes

in this college the only celebration will be pongal celebration and that day everyone will be enjoying, that makes some of the staff irritated and they will spoil our mood on that special occasion.
there is not culturals in this college and any kind of entertainment for us, for getting od they have more than 10 rules which makes us irritated and destroy the idea of participating in other colleges.
now they made new rules that hourly attendance is mandatory for all the students. that makes us feel more irritated because we don't have any kind of relax like the cultural programs or any other small events.

Admission:

i only applied for this college and got seat in this college as my parents decided to join me here because of the strict rules placement and the quality of the campus. the admission process is very simple but very useful because only students will handle and tackle the procedures of joining the college during the admission day and it is very useful for our future, it is almost like attending in interviews parents are not allowed during this process they are asked to wait until the process gets over.
