Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering was established in 1998. BUIE is located in Bankura, West Bengal and is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology) and Government of West Bengal.

At Undergraduate level, Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering offers B.Tech degree course in six disciplines. At Postgraduate level, the college offers M.Tech degree course in two specializations. The college also offers B.Tech Lateral Entry to the candidates.

The applications for all the courses are accepted through both offline and online mode.
Minimum eligibility for B.Tech course is 10+2 examination with PCM subjects from a recognized board.
Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of WBJEE or JEE Main.
Candidates having Diploma in Engineering or a three-year B.Sc. degree can apply for admission to B.Tech second year lateral entry program.
Admission to B.Tech Lateral entry is done on the basis of WBJELET.
80% seats of the approved intake are allocated to the WBJEE qualified candidates, while 10% seats are allocated to the JEE Main qualified candidates. The rest 10% seats are filled by the colleges as Management Quota.
Candidates having BE/ B.Tech degree in relevant discipline or M.Sc./ MCA degree in the relevant field can apply for M.Tech courses.
Selection to M.Tech course is on the basis of candidates’ performance in the GATE examination.
However, candidates not having GATE score have to appear for WBUT PGET conducted by the University.

Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering offers B.Tech course in six specializations. The college also offers admission to B.Tech program through Lateral Entry.

Minimum eligibility for admission is 10+2 examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with at least 45% marks. Candidates applying for admission through Lateral Entry must have passed in Diploma in Engineering / B.Sc (Hons.) with 60% marks.

Key Points:

Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering offers M.Tech course in two disciplines.

The candidate must have obtained B.E. / B.Tech in relevant discipline, securing a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.75. In addition, the candidate should have secured 50% marks in all examination.

Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering Application Process 2024

For WBJEE, WBJELET and PGET entrance examinations, candidates must apply through the official website of WBJEEB. However, for JEE Main and GATE, candidate need to register at the official website of the respective conducting bodies.

Go to the official website of WBJEEB.
Enter Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s name and Date of birth to complete the registration.
Choose password and security question/answer and submit the application.
An SMS/ e-mail containing application number will be and sent to the candidate.
After registration, upload scanned images of recent colour photograph and signature.
After this, pay application fee of INR 500 (Banking charges extra), the fees can be paid either by ‘Net Banking’/ ‘Debit Card’/ ‘Credit Card’ or in cash using Allahabad Bank e-Challan.
On successful completion of all the above steps, download the ‘Confirmation Page’.

If you're willing to do B.TECH from here you've to crack WBJEE and if you're willing to do BCA then you've to appear for CET. The CET exam have only 3 phases and you've to score at least 50% marks and above. Then the admission cell will call you after the counseling and then you've to visit the college with all the documents required. You've to feel the application form and all the data. Then submit the application form and have to pay some money for the seat booking and others fees, like caution deposit, library charges, and others. Then they'll call you or mail you with the admission successful mail and the date of boarding or the dates of starting your classes. Then you just have to reach college within the dates. And if you're facing some delays or something else then you can contact with the faculties they'let you know what youve to do. Then after 1 or 2 weeks classes you've to pay thr enrollment fee of around Rs.1200/- .
